I speak for all Texas fans when I say we thought we were gonna get blown out this game, it was a pleasant surprise. But this season was the beginning of the end for Mack Brown. The announcer summed it up at the end when he said “ Texas isn’t going to lose the rest of the year”. This game gave us false hope lol.

I feel like Texas football has never met expectations dating back to the 2009 season when Texas lost the national championship game against Bama. It all started with that loss and they’ve never recovered.

@@RevAlSharptonz - Their biggest issue has been the plethora of Texas high school QBs that they've passed on. Andrew Luck, Manziel, Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, the list goes on. They haven't had a great quarterback since Colt McCoy.

@@violenceteacher6669 Garrett Gilbert was 4 or 5 Star QB coming into Texas. He didn't fail....Texas FAILED to groom and train him. Failed to cultivate his talent.
