It'll be a waste to travel to another country to watch the next eclipse because of weather conditions. A chance of seeing a total eclipse in your lifetime is 1 out of a googolplex.

@@superpaul583actually there on average any given point gets a total eclipse every ~400 years. So, assuming the average lifetime is 72 years, roughly one out of every 6 people will happen to be in path of totality. One out of six people isn’t thattt high

@@00st307-m be at least prepared to drive Junction or so. The latest models runs are slightly better but still doesn’t look good. Still time for things to change but definitely iffy at best

Clouds or not, you won't see anything in Houston. The difference between a regular sky and 90% totality is miniscule. You don't even notice it.
