Texas Love meet Robin Gibb! In my opinion he was the soul of the Bee Gees, famous for throwing in ad libs to a song making it come to life. His signature song was "I Started A Joke" from the late 60's to the day he left. A great live performance of that is 1997s One Night Only in Las Vegas (you can also find Maurice (Morris) on lead in Man In The Middle from same concert). "I don't sing with my voice I sing with my heart"....Robin Gibb. Rest in Peace sweet Robin xxx
@susieq9801 Жыл бұрын
Robin's best "Joke" performance was 1989 in Melbourne. A one minute plus standing "O". The "One Night Only" was IMO a much inferior concert and they were past their prime but that is just the one most people know. The "All for one" show in Melbourne was by far superior. If you havent' seen it you're in for a treat.

It's from the nineties and it's Robin, standing in the middle. Barry rightside in view from the crowd, Maurice leftside. They always did it that way. Even as lil boys, when they shared one bed together over many years. Kinda natural thing to them, just like they were natural born musicians which never learned about notes or being teached to play instruments or sing. In 2001, they made their last concerts together, so lateron, Maurice sadly passed away. On YT, you can find the songs 'Sacred Trust', 'This Is Where I Came In', 'Man In The Middle' and 'Wedding Day'. Priceless!

Morris, like Julia Morris, australian comedienne who lived in the US for a while is how you say Maurice Gibb. He died next once the doctors found out he had a stomach problem, which caused a lot of pain, since childhood. Robin had it as well, got it fixed up. Maurice had the operation, but didn't recover. Genres to me are formulaic, and songs about the singer's life or treating people badly, don't impress me.
