Two Top Secret Locations fishing for flounder. We spent the better part of the day wade fishing Galveston Texas for flounder. It's early in the season and we wanted to scout and just fish. Fishing with gulp we wade fished Galveston's ferry landing and Seawolf Park.

haha If youve never heard of Gulp. One of my fave lures for flounder I use is a pink and white pompano jig with a chartreuse quill. Had a few nice size ones from City Dyke late last week.

Last year Texas Parks and Wildlife misinformed people that you couldn't catch flounder. I had several people get mad at me for still fishing for them. When I contacted Texas Parks and Wildlife head judicial office, they said the statement released was misworded, although they never fixed it. They told me fishing for flounder during the closure days was not illegal but frowned on. Then why tell ppl they couldn't? My argument with them was if I'm fishing for a red rum and a flounder bites how can you hold someone accountable?

I can’t wait for the temperature to drop more that second spot right across the channel by the houses is also fire the only problem is that you can only get there by boat, kayak or jetski.
