Try the hot hands packs when your hands get cold like that you can just grab them and hold them as needed or they have the hit water bottles with the plush thermal sleeves over them, you could just slide your hand in the pocket to warm up as you go along.

Hello Margret . I live in Brighton Co. I have a a basement too. When you are in the basement, look up at the long rectangular shape tubes right next to your furnace. There should be a slider on the tube that you can slide open and it can channel some of your heat or even cool air into your basement. I leave it open all year round for a balance air flow. Hope you have a set up like mine... Love your channel...

I buy a bunch of those warm Hands packets and keep them in the car. I wear mittens and not gloves. Gloves will help your fingers share heat with each other, kind of like how they say it’s better to share body warm if you are stranded with someone. Then put those hot hands in the mittens. Toasty warm. I live in Colorado Springs and I also have gloves or mittens (depending how cold it is) in every coat or jacket I own. And extras in the cars. If it’s indoors that cold, wrapping your hands around a hot cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, etc.

I bought some recent 15 piece mixed boxes. Some have been amazing and others Meh. It’s becoming like the blue boxes extremely inconsistent! The DIY boxes have become insanely difficult to get, so I’ve settled for the mixed. But I’m to the point where I’m going to put them all on hold for a while.
