It’s your hair. You can do whatever you want with it. And you don’t have to explain. And just because you relax your hair, it does not mean that you don’t like your hair or that you are trying to be someone other than yourself. Enjoy!

@M Tol make me understand cause I never heard its am insecurity what if she is tender headed what if combing her hair takes a really long time to slay it's her hair..if she was insecure she wouldn't be natural she would be hiding her 4c hair....talking about 4c girls insecure and lying...not everyone has the money and time for their hair it's way more EXPENSIVE than relaxing..

@@jaclynsimone4926 You can love your hair and still struggle to do it. You can love your hair and still not have time to do it. She’s relaxing her hair to make it easier on herself and that’s perfectly okay. You keep talking about insecurities but youre projecting. Leave her alone.

Tip for those who want to do this: with relaxer ALWAYS start with the ends of the hair and do the roots last. The hair at the root processes very quickly because of the heat from your scalp. So if you do the roots first they will typically end up over processed
@Sheabuttahbaby
@Sheabuttahbaby 2 жыл бұрын
Also bc the roots process faster so it's best to do the ends first so you can let it sit long as you need to.

I heard to do the middle first from the nape upwards. Not to start with the ends because the ends of our hair is most fragile this “broken ends” needing trims. Middle, ends then roots. From nape upwards 😌

Texlaxing is more difficult than normal relaxing. You have to time it. Other wise you will get different results . Let somebody help and rinse the first part out at a certain time and don't forget that some parts of your hair can have a lower porosity than other parts. And under processing is not always better if you have to use heat afterwards.

It's great that you're happy. However, you still need a trim. That was probably one of the reasons why you got frustrated with your natural hair, your soil ends were causing tangles. But even now that your hair is texlaxed, I advice you trim for a healthier and fuller look.

Do what you want with your hair.for years I did my locs auburn,deep red etc because of people thinking they could police how light my hair can be. I wanted my locs a warm blonde and over sessions I got it strawberry honey blonde. Guess what half the folks talking about others hair have none ,its damaged,nutritional deficiencies and if they regularly smoke or drink thier hair is going to thin and eventually start thinning and falling out! I don't have the best hair but it grows an inch to inch and a half every month,most people get 1/2 inch so my hair is good😂😂. All hair is damaged hence treatments and moisture to keep it from breaking and reducing shed which is the hair strand becoming deceased😅

It will grow, but you'll need to retouch the new growth every 4 to 6 weeks. Otherwise you'll be stuck trying to style your natural texture at the roots with texlaxed ends. That is quite annoying to deal with- take it from me! If you're going to do it, keep up with the retouches unless growing it out is what you want.
