Tip for those who want to do this: with relaxer ALWAYS start with the ends of the hair and do the roots last. The hair at the root processes very quickly because of the heat from your scalp. So if you do the roots first they will typically end up over processed
@Sheabuttahbaby2 жыл бұрын
Also bc the roots process faster so it's best to do the ends first so you can let it sit long as you need to.

Texlaxing is more difficult than normal relaxing. You have to time it. Other wise you will get different results . Let somebody help and rinse the first part out at a certain time and don't forget that some parts of your hair can have a lower porosity than other parts. And under processing is not always better if you have to use heat afterwards.

Do what you want with your hair.for years I did my locs auburn,deep red etc because of people thinking they could police how light my hair can be. I wanted my locs a warm blonde and over sessions I got it strawberry honey blonde. Guess what half the folks talking about others hair have none ,its damaged,nutritional deficiencies and if they regularly smoke or drink thier hair is going to thin and eventually start thinning and falling out! I don't have the best hair but it grows an inch to inch and a half every month,most people get 1/2 inch so my hair is good😂😂. All hair is damaged hence treatments and moisture to keep it from breaking and reducing shed which is the hair strand becoming deceased😅

Does your hair grow with textlax if you do it every 6 months?
@bisolajacobson3 жыл бұрын
I texlaxed my hair again after 4months and the growth was very obvious

I'm going to try this tired of 4c dryness hair knotty ends and tangleness no matter what I do 🤦
@jduce683 жыл бұрын
It will grow, but you'll need to retouch the new growth every 4 to 6 weeks. Otherwise you'll be stuck trying to style your natural texture at the roots with texlaxed ends. That is quite annoying to deal with- take it from me! If you're going to do it, keep up with the retouches unless growing it out is what you want.

Hey, what’s a texlax and how does it differ from a relaxer?? Is it like a texturized a weaker relaxer?
@yonnie115943 жыл бұрын
Relaxing your hair but leaving some texture.
@bisolajacobson3 жыл бұрын
applying relaxer on your hair but under processing it, that is not leaving it on for the recommended time❤️
