Phoebe! Magazines are the BEST. I use the ones with really thick, glossy paper BUT if you choose to use a thinner one, just glue 2 pages together to make one thicker page. Have fun!

I started Junk journaling only mine are smaller. I use old greeting cards to make the cover and add scrap pages. They have classes once a month at my local library (which also has a maker space with sewing machines, 3d printers, and two glowforge machines) and I like being able to do my own things. I am a creative person and rule number 1 with junk journaling... There are no mistakes! 😃

Mark! 😃...I was one of your subbies under a different handle before my life took a dive in an unfortunate direction that was almost completely out of my control. I have finally picked up the reins for the bit of control remaining and started to move on. The changes came at an unexpected time when a person my age figured she had it all figured out. Not so much. I was forced into a situation I didn't agree with, and so my "dream plan" of old got upended like a dinner table set for a formal dinner. No fun. No fun at all. Anyhow, I recently went to get a few things out of storage- there's so much I want to keep - like all my art materials collected over the years of being spurred on by magazines like RubberStampMadness, The Studio, etc. I'm finding it hard to part with much of it. I realized too late that my dreams were bigger than my reality and that it was hard for my hubby to keep up with all of it. He preferred small spaces (trailer life), and I preferred stability (a home). It remains a very hard pill to swallow (32 years of togetherness isn't a drop in the bucket) but eventually I imagine I'll come through to the other side of reality - that life goes on no matter what we stumble over. Anyway, as I've finally begun to come out of the fog (or denial, I suppose), I'm at least starting to glue my little sketches and artful ideas into one oversized sketch book. When I searched YT for journaling, you popped up!! 😃 I was so pleased & excited beyond belief!!! 😄 I'm grateful on this day of Thanksgiving for finding "an old friend" because you were my top bookmark before everything hit the proverbial fan. 😅 I'm elated to have found you again, and especially happy you're still around! Thank goodness for art, because it Definitely Saves Lives! 🤩 God Bless you and yours, Mark. I wish you the happiest of holidays. 🍗🥧🥗🌲🎅🏽🤶🏽🥰
