This video has helped me through so much. Listening to your word Teresa lets me feel loved and stops me from going into a dark place. My boyfriend had recently broken up with me. Together for 2 years but he wasn't in love with me the way I was in love with him. Listening to someone you love say over, and over again they do not love you or see a future with you is terribly heartbreaking. This tez talk in particular gets me through without feeling alone. Hi Nicole, Thanks for your message. I understand depression all too well as my mother has suffered tremendously with schizoaffective disorder almost her entire adult life and for as long as she has been my mum. I know depression isn't a choice but I am encouraged and inspired by the strength of the human spirit when I see my mum look down the barrel of her adversities and win time and time again. She lapses and then returns to triumph and that is a beautiful & incredible journey to watch. LOVE.

I can relate to this so much...i grew so much from a very significant relationship break up (and my mum got breast cancer at the same time) 4 years ago. I am now really grateful I went through it as I also really learnt to take responsibility for my happiness and also have a much greater sense of self worth.

I have just found your videos on here. I have liked them. One thing you need to realize. some people do not choose to be depression. I have depression do do my brain hormone not being in balance. That is very hard to get over, and throw sometimes. You are very smart young lady. I think you have a lot to give to others keep up the good work.

Tez, I'm so sorry to hear of the trials you've had to face over the last year. I hope that your Mum is doing better. Totally agree with everything you said...I had some grey points this year, but for every grey point there were two bright orange points after and I totally grew into the orange because I had been in the grey. Otherwise I may not had made it to the orange yet!! :)

We do choose these things, sometimes even if we know the answer we need to learn for ourselves the hard way. If you are able, talking to people about these realizations only helps remind us what is important and puts perspective. In the end being human, we cannot maintain perfect clarity but instead work on a foundation that we can use to pick up our feet when we fall. Also we cant too often get caught up in firstworldproblems instead be happy we are to be free to improve and speak our minds :)

Life is like an ECG,it has ups and downs; however,with that being said we should never give up when we face our darkest periods, we have to keep fighting to find wisdom in darkness and the strength to stand up stronger, because life is worth living, therefore we shall never surrender to our problems, we should take the time to strengthen our weaknesses in order to acquire the ability of enjoying our day; certainly the good one and indisputably the bad one.

You also never know if adversity is really what it seems. Like Eckhart Tolle puts it in a story: --- A man won an expensive car in a lottery. His friends said: “You are so lucky.” The man just smiled and replied, “Maybe.” A few weeks latter he had an accident with his new car and he ended up in a hospital. His friends came to visit and said, “That was really unfortunate.” The man smiled again and said, “Maybe.” One night there was a landslide and his house was completely destroyed. His friends came the next day and said, “You are so lucky to have been here in this hospital.” Again he said, “Maybe.” --- You are such a great person, Teresa, but I would probably never found this channel without recent celebrity photo leaks (I have never heard of you before).
