I have a itch to add some explanations myself: -Teletraping - more likely refers to placing entrance and exit on a steep slope, with exit being underneath entrance so that the teammate teleporting throug them gets trapped in the hitbox of the entrance and can't move. -Hatism - its TF2's own version of sexism/racism, where players with more hats are believed to be superior to peaople with less/no hats. -Enineer missing hitbox - I believe this one referes specifically to the fact that engies crotch doesn't have an hitbox, which was known and memed well before Shounic's video. - 3D sprays - people used to (I don't know if they still can, but probably yes) make sprays that displayed different picture based upon how far from the spray was the viewer. So for example the spray could be showing naked woman from affar, but as you get closer to take a look it turns into scout laughting at you. -Killing Sentries as Scout - sentries are Scout's hard counter so knowing how to kill them as him is pretty advanced knowledge. -Taunting Israelis - most likely a comedic spin on the infamous "Dancing Israelis". Go check that out for yourself :) -Building are players - its actually true. Beneath the spaghetti layer of code, building are counted as players, altought bot controlled. You can for example kick them from match if you acces to console commands. You can do it on your own server with sv_cheats 1 enabled. -Mercs don't respawn - could also be an very old theory that Mercs are an army of clones, whose consciousness is being transferred to a new body after death. -Robin Walker dopplegangers - valve employees steam accounts have access to OP unique weapons (search for "valve rocket launcher" for example) that they could use on any server. Robin Walker used to visit random servers and wreak havoc most of the all employees, back in the day. There's theory that many instances of him doing so was actually hackers getting access to these weapons and pretending to be Robin to not be suspiscious. -Gmod snuff films - this has a lot to do with TF2 as the early gmod animators used TF2 Mercs models a lot in their movies, so they would naturally use them in this kind of movies too. Also, main point of some very old animations was brutally killing Mercs and other models, it was a trend almost. I hope someone finds some pleasure in reading my ramblings.

TF2 was one of these games that were supported during this event & the items given out through it are exceptionally rare with the rarest one being a sniper hat that only two people obtained. I think her microphone was plugged into, say, the Red team's port and she said something like "alert, the enemy has captured our intelligence" and then she plugs it into the Blu team's port and says something like "we have taken the enemy's intelligence." I think the "Railways connect all maps" thing is due to how a huge portion of TF'2 official maps have railways or tracks somewhere in them, in the background or otherwise (Well being the obvious example, along with maps like Freight, Steel and Badwater also being good ones too) and that they should logically all connect to each other in-lore.

8:15 This actually refers to the Engineer's once missing pelvis hitbox. It has been fixed by now. 25:00 The Universal Strangifier DOES work with everything. There was once a bug that caused Strangifiers and Killstreak Kits obtained during a certain period of time to not be attributed to any item, and would just cause them to display nothing, and also be usable on any item, that's why you can find stuff like Killstreak hats on rare occassions.

Melee weapons in TF2 are hitscan weapons with short range, so a swing with it is technically a shot. Solem Vow is a melee weapon, and also a head. Each SV attack, therefore, is a head shot.

I'm pretty sure that the flying scouts one refers to a bug that was in the game where as a scout you could fly by equipping the atomizer, throwing the Mad milk and picking up another mad milk item while holding the attack button (I think, it was patched a while back so I don't remember it too much) While the bug was active scouts could basically jump in the air for as long and as much as they wanted while doing the default A-Pose and could at anytime return to normal by selecting their primary.

Teletraps were a thing where you could put a teleporter above the other on a slpoe, preferably the exit at the bottom, and the entrance at the top. Because both teleporters have collision for everyone, people who were unaware of them became stuck inside the teleporter entrance, unable to move. It was mainly used to troll new players and perform silly trampolines using other players or amazing kills from the other side of the map as Engineer and other explosive classes.

I think the railways one might refer to the fact many maps have a freight train in the background or running through the map. Even 2fort has one(BLU side in a shed). It's almost always the same engine/livery which would imply the same railroad, hence railroad connecting all maps.

While I will say the dragon's fury can be quite powerful, it's got an unreasonable amount of problems with it, mainly due to the numerous bugs like being unable to fire on stairs, the projectile not being able to shoot through enemy projectiles, the particle amount being astronomical meaning some PCs drop frames super hard and so on. If it were completely fixed I would definitely see it a lot more but as it stands, you're at a huge disadvantage when using it in most circumstances.

18:40 meet the scout is not a lie. i once looked more closely and realised that the bullets that are missing scout in the beginning are from a heavy, not a sentry. you can see that the bullets are firing too fast for the level 1 sentry seen in the scene before that, and you can hear a minigun firing, not a sentry. i have no idea why valve decided to put the sentry bit there, because the sentry is not seen later.

I miss the days of quickplay but i understand why they did it. Quickplay required all servers to be running for players to be able to join, and quick play allowed for servers to be quickly used up (even if its by 1 person on the server) and that is a lot of energy being used. Matchmaking allows for more them to clump people together. Using less servers and saving more energy. And they also will have more dynamic control on shutting down and starting up of servers. Cause you gotta remember even though its virtual. It's all being computed on real hardware at the end of the day.
