No. the uber time decreases by 0.5 seconds if you flash another player.

The issue was that you said that the remaining uber time decreases by half when flashing ( 2:38 ) which is not true, it only decreases by half a second.

yeah, this was done on purpose to water down the concept to be simplier. We made this video to cater to people who have close to 0 game knowledge and it was done to make understanding things easier. I understand that it is misleading this way and it's wrong, sorry if it bothers you! for what it's worth, we will (hopefully) continue this series and clarify this point when we get to the topic of ubers :) -shounic

heavy is not for only for defending last points. its a legit strat to push with the heavy, slowly but surely.

In most cases a scout flank, soldier bomb or just general good focusing combined with team communication can take out a heavy in an instant. A heavy simply cant run away or keep up with the 4 main comp classes [most of the time]. This being said, a heavy does have good dpm, is able to secure areas very well and can take an enemy off guard or destroy a not too good team. Though in high level play being a consistently usefull player, being able to avoid damage and having good movement are the most important things.
