Ironically enough, this new wave of bots is actually terribly coded. I think the main reason why Valve hasn’t said anything is because they wanna keep the fixes on the down-low so they don’t create another issue with bot hosts finding the fix they made and quickly implement a workaround.

Thanks for addressing this problem along with the rest of us lol. its good that even the smallest of creators like us can shout out this stuff. Millions of people saying the exact same thing and Valve doesnt fix it. They need to make a Watchdog-like bot tracker, it works wonders for MC Javas Hypixel server.

I think a lot of botters would slow down if they saw valve actually devoting consistent time to it... They give us so little attention that losers think tf2's just a common resource they can exploit. I don't think valve is going to be the one stopping them, in all honesty--I think we have to use our collective influence to organize. I don't know exactly what the right solution would be, but through productive discussion and testing, I'm sure we could figure it out.

The best trick i can think off is to use covering fire with a map's structures and geometry, as a pyro *(flares)*, soldier *(battalion's backup, is the best option against bots, due to crit and damage resistance)*, or demo with a vac medic. if you feel ballsy you could go for cleaver as scout, as a "fuck you" at the bots and you could get to cover faster. Once you cleared the first wave, have an engie set up a nest *(even better if they got a wrangler for counter sniping)*. somewhere with a choke point so you could hold ground and slowly advance. This of course need some amount of coordination and success may depend, if your foe is actively relying on and supporting the bots. Not perfect method, but the least you could do If the enemy team refuse or can't vote kick the bots.

I was literally in a match yesterday with the entire opposite team with nothing but bots. One point an actual player was on the other team but didn't do anything from what I remembered. When one of the bots got auto balance, it got kicked in 30 seconds. It was like an MvM match. XD but when we were on red... we didnt couldn't win....

That ending I feel your pain, but you gotta remain calm and change your objective from "completing the objective" to "its time to hunt some bots" where you take out a machina and go out "hunting" lol at least... before they kick you.

sadly, I have terrible aim.. I have done pretty well with the bonk and the sandman, but the bots are too spread out for that on red.

@frogpaste4616 you just gotta utilize objects on maps. If there's a small window where your head doesn't poke out, they'll shoot your body, and you can pop the bot. I recommend using the cozy camper to prevent their bullets from shaking your view. The way I get better aim, I aim to the sides with a and d on my keyboard because the movement of the mouse can throw off your aim. Also, my secret is that I lift my arm off my table and use my wrist to prop up my arm to make my aim quicker and more precise. Good luck. May no bot be spared.

Sometimes, to try to solve it, I would grab a Pyro and try to kill it quickly, kick them quickly when only one came in, or just look for another game.

@@frogpastethedyke The bad thing is, when there are a majority of bots in the game and only 2 or 3 vote to kick it, screw it because the wait to kick it back is too long. Besides, I just entered a game in a game mode that almost no one had, it was literally full of bots, but full to capacity.
