One thing I dislike about the zombie cosmetics is that they darken the whole player model, which can make it harder to see, especially if you're on an already dark Halloween map (add the spells and crap everywhere to make it worse).

I don't know why so much hate towards "seasonal employee" cosmetic it fits perfect with smissmas set "Santa's Little Accomplice" (big elfin deal and bootie time) IMO it always felt like something is missing in torso place, nice to wear them together during smissmas event or on winter maps, also you can easily imagine scout would wear something like this during his another community service shown in "A Smissmas Story" comics" where's "Santa's Little Accomplice" set was present. Here we go again! Glad to see this being done finally. I'll comment my personal different takes on some of the hats reviewed. (That being said, you are entitled to your opinions and I enjoy seeing them, I just wish to share my own and my arguments for them, even if I recognize mine align more with a trader main than anything :p) -I actually like the Elf Care Provider for Medic, I managed to make a decent loadout with it. (It helps that it doesnt have too much "festive" stuff to it. Though then again its Unusual, so maybe my opinion doesn't count) -The Jester mask I'd have ranked much higher, it not fitting the artstyle as it was in 2010 should not be considered an argument in 2024, thank you. -I dont think the skull shirt should be thrown into delete just because of the paint region; It doesn't recolor the entire model for one thing, and the paintable region is under a larger team-colored area which the eyes will gravitate towards to first. Personally, I'd probably rank it a C, it's nothing special. -I'd rank the California Cap an A if not even a S/Enjoyer tier, it's the best cap cosmetic for Scout, "no cap". -Hey, shoulder pets are cool, I use them on my friendly loadouts. -For the Boom Boxers and Particulate Protector...What people do with the cosmetics shouldn't affect the ranking in my opinion. (Though, they are both pretty bad to begin with, and the mask only really fits on Medic) -For the Greek set, I really don't get the argument of something being Halloween Restricted serving as an excuse for it breaking the game's artstyle/themes; Either be fine with theme/artstyle-breaking items all the time or never, Halloween shouldn't be an excuse, and an item shouldn't be ranked lower because it doesn't have a restriction that kills the item's use. -Wing Mann might be bad, but many careers of traders started with it as their first unusual. (Many died with it too) It can actually be used together with the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head and Monoculus (Which are both QS miscs) to have an Unusual effect with those, as they completely hide it. So, it holds a soft spot, I'd only put it in E. -I'd miss the Courtly Cuirass, I use it for a Silver Sonic cosplay in TF2. (The Herald's Helm isn't too bad of a QS misc, though not easily hidden) -For the Frenchman's Formals, well...Like father like son. -I'd place the Macho Mann a rank lower on Scout, the mustache looks really odd on him. -The Spooky Sleeves are fine, they're not overly tacky. (Also, why does it matter if femboys enjoy it???) -I like some of the robo hats, just not on Scout. (Though the default robo Scout hat is cool, I like that one) -The Void Monk Hair can be used for Zelda BOTW cosplays at least, I like it. -I think the jingle booties are good, they are an absolute classic. -Not a differing opinion, but a fun fact: Not only is the Bonk Helm the only hat with its own unique crafting recipe, but it is also the only hat that shows the sheen if a glitched KS kit is applied to it.
