Dual guide rod, dual springs. There's nothing innovative there. Nothing in that action justifies the magazine being sandwiched in the middle. Now I'm just bummed, seeing that it's a poor design. Nothing prevents you from putting the magazine on top in that design, not to mention lowering your bore axis.
@jimmyjunk30933 жыл бұрын
@@otm646 If the mag is on top you would need to make a P90-esk sight/rail group, or something that comes up over the mag; otherwise, you'll be limited to a very small section of rail just above the grip. It will also increase the optical axis, or at the very least, increase sight height. You also couldn't have an AR style charging handle, for whatever that's worth. The weapon will need to split in half or open up in some way already in order to strip the gun for maintenance. The requirement to hinge the weapon open for loading and unloading simply combines the functions of opening the weapon for maintenance, and removing the magazine. It isn't something I would call a bad design for something that ultimately will only ever be a range toy.
@NaruSanavai3 жыл бұрын
@@jimmyjunk3093 Besides, it holds _50 rounds_ in a semi-auto, large-pistol format. Ya ain't gonna be reloading that often. I think way too many people have gotten caught up in trying to judge _every_ weapon as though it'd be a _fighting weapon._
