When I look at how much Vz.61s are selling for in my home in the Czech Republic, I'm glad I don't have to deal with the import price: Full auto, rarely used 6000 CZK - 250 dollars Semi auto, rarely used 5000 CZK - 208 dollars Semi auto, new 7000 CZK - 328 dollars Semi auto, more used (second-hand) - 4000 CZK - 166 dollars

Honestly, yeah. They're clearly using a nylon derivative, so long as its SLS printed it's basically equivalent to the materials and methods used by Glock for their frames. Assuming it's a glass or carbon fiber reinforced nylon and it's properly annealed, it ought to last a few decades at least.

@MrWyzzerd The rate reducer has to be removed as of it is considered part of the automatic fire. So on semi autos no rate reducer.

@@dans.98 That's incorrect. The presenter here specifically says these *_DO_* have the reducer, and you can find plenty of guides online for how to install it. It's also not required to be deactivated when re-welding a Skorpion receiver, only the autosear slot MUST be filled. Select fire Skorpion's also work just fine without the reducer, they just run stupid fast like a Mac. The reducer assembly isn't included on semis because it's unnecessary and has no benefit (except maybe if bumpfiring). It just adds complexity. The reducer can potentially cause annoying and hard to fix jams if it fails to release, and that also prevents the ability to split/open the gun until it's fixed. But, just like the original metal safety, it's perfectly legal to install & use the reducer hook/assembly if you value authenticity or want a clone-correct build.

@@PickleWickle92 can't speak for Poland, but I suspect it's pretty similar to Czechia. All you need is firearms license basically (easy to obtain). We have no SBR and Suppressor tax stamps either here, so you can have as short of a barrel with a stock as you wish :)

I'm absolutely thrilled to see him giving Titus some love. They also make great Ar-15 trigger pack bodies for the Aug, which is great because it gives you a better trigger and common parts (because individual AUG trigger group parts aren't generally available separately).

Just got back from the range shooting my Vz.61 with my Odessa-9.. If you take the rate reducer out you can change the grip to a Magpul AK grip. I've a pic rail adapter on the rear with 1913 folding brace. She's a tack driver and quiet AF but gassy AF.

Whether these new guns end up being worth it or not, I'm elated to see the industry finally expand beyond just churning out more AR-patterns and polymer-frame duty pistols. Don't get me wrong, they're almost all great and reliable designs, but so are the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla; that doesn't mean most customers want to visit a car lot and see nothing else for sale.

It’s definitely more convenient than buying the parts separately, for people who just want a complete for cheap. It’s actually around the cost of doing it yourself, unless you 3D print, then it’s significantly more lol. Building it about a year ago cost me 450 or something using the same surplus lower and a new upper, but their upper is already set up for stocks and it has a bunch of extras, so an honest deal.

I just built one on a steel receiver for 620 total. 580 is a decent deal if you aren’t into assembling parts I guess. However, when the difference is only 40 bucks and a little labor, I’m going with steel every time.
