I was renting one of these while moving from CA to OH and caught Covid the day I was supposed to fly out. The rental company let me drive it across the country since I could no longer board the plane. So me, wife, two kids, dog, two guinea pigs and a ton of luggage all packed inside and made the trip pretty comfortably. You can fit more inside than you would think from viewing it on the outside.

We just bought a 2025 Rock Creek edition in Boulder Gray Pearl several days ago. This color reminds my wife of the BMW X3 M50 in Brooklyn Gray. My first impression is its feels a little quicker than our previous rogue. Really have to watch your speed because it doesn't feel like its going as fast as you think your going. The steering is way more responsive compared to previous Rogues. Ride quality wise it felt similar to our previous rogue maybe a hair smoother. The pro pilot assist is a joke since It ping pongs back and forth in between the lane. I like the buttons and analog gauges because its less to fail compared to a digital screen. On the gauge cluster it shows the oil life expectancy at 8,000miles. I do not recommend running it this long for oil change intervals especially since it has a turbo. I would suggest no more than 5,000 tops but 3,500-4,000 miles ideal. Also change the CVT fluid every 30-35K not every 60K and it should be fine. We bought a factory extended bumper to bumper warranty through Nissan 8 years 100K because I do not trust this 3cyl turbo and with all the new technology in these car I wanted peace of mind for my wife. The cabin air filter is much easier to change out located in the glove box compared to being underneath the dash on previous model. We traded in a 2015 Rogue SV premium package with 117K that we bought new. It was a great car for my wife. Hopefully this Rock Creek Edition Rogue will last a long time.
@CalAdkinsАй бұрын
I have a 23 Rogue SV and the CVT is actually pretty good in my opinion. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between a regular automatic and it if you didn't know. It's very smooth and acceleration for passing feels pretty effortless. It's a great daily driver and road trip vehicle for me! That Rock Creek appearance package does look pretty good although I'm betting those tires will decrease MPG's 2 or 3.
@occckid123Ай бұрын
When you're using cruise control, going up-and-down the hills, the CVT actually cancels out the shifts, and it gets up the hills much better than any automatic. Which would be downshifting a few gears to get up the same hill

I believe it's a 3 cylinder not 4. My wife has a rogue, as far as I can tell it's a fine engine. I don't drive it a ton. I can say it's a huge improvement over the NA 4 cyl it replaced. That was pretty lame. While not what I would call fast, the new engine is smoother and way more powerful than the old 4.

Our 23 pathfinder RC handles like poop during heavy acceleration, like front wheel drive out of control. It wants to remove the steering wheel from your hand. This is very obnoxious and dangerous in inclimate weather. You never feel like you're in control. It doesn't feel like a true Awd to me either.. its very dominant from the front wheels. You feel more feed back from the front than the rear and you can distinctively feel when the rear wheels engage. Any one else have this experience with their Rock Creek?

One reviwer says the ride is firm and you feel every bump. Another says the ride is soft. One reviewer correctly identifies the engine as a 3cyl. Another incorrectly identifies it as a 4cyl. Great to see Blaze! He's such a good boy. Jerky CVT? It sounds like it's already malfunctioning. I have a feeling that it will prove to be a reliability disaster between the CVT and the tiny turbo engine. Time will tell. That aside, it looks like a nice vehicle. Bronco Sport makes no sense when its on the same platform as the maverick and you can get a better equipped maverick for cheaper. The only way to get the 2.0 in the BS is badlands trim which around here usually are $40k+ vehicles. I definately wouldn't buy a nissan cvt but when you hit $40k you are in frontier pro4-x territory.

Nissan is struggling big time. They are on the brink of failure, and are in incredible debt with only more difficult times on the way and with no legitimate plan to fix their future. There is a strong chance we don't see the Nissan brand in North America in 5 years. Mitsubishi already bought back their 10% stock to help. I think we will have to see another brand step in and save them.
