@@devilmonkey427 Current gen Ranger is a great truck and the last 2019-2023. The Aussies did hell of a job with that platform and continue to do so. Toyota is starting to take a back seat down under. That is huge when you realize that Toyota rules the Australian backroads.

I love my Raptor 37! With a cap in the back and 500 lbs constant load, I still get 17-19 mpg going up and down hills from Oregon to California and back. Stopped to get gas exactly 1 time! Having the Raptor R would have been nice but I’d never trade anything for my current setup.

I have a Jan 2023 build (MY2022) Ranger Raptor here in Australia that I’ve owned since new. I’m over 36,000km on the odometer now (22,370mi), and the best economy I ever got was about a month ago on a 382km (237mi) drive from Townsville, QLD, to Mackay, QLD (so sea level - no downhill nonsense), was 9.53L/100km (24.68mpg). My average over the 36,000km of ownership though, has been 12.82L/100km (18.35mpg) though. Twice now I’ve driven within 3km (2mi) of 750km (466mi) from the 80L (21.13gal) tank. If you just need the vehicle to cruise; it can do it. If you want it to have fun; it can do that too.

@JosephSmithBMXMAN11110 сағат бұрын
@@jonahfastre it could be different additives in the fuel, elevation, speed, tire pressure, here in America that highway is pretty straight and flat.
@superchargedpetrolhead10 сағат бұрын
emission is not just based on consumption, for basic CO2 it is somewhat right in thinking that less consumption = less emission but for everything else, there are so many variables which contribute to the overall emission...various things like engine temp, tuning, combustion timing, fuel type and the additives in it and so on can drastically vary the nox and pm emission... That engine is probably tuned in a way to reduce those particular type of emission in europe.
