Honestly I think Jeep can expand its horizons. Let's see a single cab 7ft bed Wrangler capable of turning into a flat bed. With diesel and gas options and equipped with a PTO like the old days. Make work trucks great again. Let's see it!

@@abou824 There would be a huge market for it Internationally. Many trucks outside of the US end up with a flatbed type of conversion. 945lbs of payload? That's not a real truck.
@andyham60943 жыл бұрын
Off road trucks with off road shocks tuned for off roading almost always have poor payload numbers due to the softness of the shocks and other off road components. Even the biggest baddest off road trucks like the raptor and trx have poor payload and tow numbers compared to most others. If someone is concerned about payload and using it as a work truck just get a regular trim truck and not a top off road trim like the tacoma and tundra trd pro, f150 raptor, trx, Colorado zr2, etc

For about three thousands dollars you could turn this vehicle CALIFORNIA STREET LEGAL by adding some removable safe-height bumpers, adding safety doors (i.e. those that meet crash standards) and a roof and then putting in proper running lights and blinkers. That Can-Am can go 60 MPH which means it's highway legal with the mods even in super-green California! So even with the Can-Am luxury-options package putting it at $25,000 USD and adding $3000 worth of mods for street legality, you would get a BETTER JEEP GLADIATOR for $35,000 LESS than the price of a Jeep Gladiator or F-150! I farm/ranch 300 acres. This comparison is silliness. Side by side is handy but pickup is a prerequisite. This seems like a sales documentary for Can-Am. Cannot haul anything down the highway. Limiting the use to off highway is major factor. Unless you have extra money laying 90% of the capabilities are redundant.

Not quite true! I know people who have put the proper "Clip-On Bumpers" and Daytime running lights and a few other mods to make the Can-Ams Street Legal even in California! It's about three thousand USD to buy to clip-on/clip-off parts that make almost ANY side-by-side street legal. Bumper height and composition, doors, running lights and backup cameras are the only real issue to get a Can Am Street legal in California which is the hardest state for off-road vehicles to get street legal in!
