*Team Maqubi's Journal Day 49: Grinding! Grinding! Grinding! HEEEYYY!!!* Hello everyone, Ivan Ooze aka Melvin Tooz here to continue recording Maqubi's adventure. Well Maqubi is still grinding us... Skidds is looking at me and smirking, so let me rephrase that, Maqubi is still continuing to train us. Duddles is still Maqubi's main focus right now. I don't really mind, if Duddles evolves into Golbat, I'll see a familiar Pokemon. I miss ManCrobat, he was so... manly.... Maqubi was talking to herself again. I overheard her say something about three people called Lanipator, Kirran, and Grant and about their meeting. I don't know who these people are... but for some reason I'm mad that I don't battle very often. During the training session, Duddles learned Wing Attack in place of Super Sonic. Since I'm on the topic, don't our moves make no sense? Duddles learned Wing Attack, but couldn't he simply just smack an opponent with his wings anytime? MyEX's Body Slam too, just a simple jump on the opponent. TMs make sense though, the information of moves we don't normally know is implemented into our brains, but moves we learn naturally sometimes are very weird considering for some, we could just do them like Slam, Bite, or Peck. Where did this topic come from? Hey look at that, Duddles is evolving! He doubled in size, his little tails became his legs, and his wing span doubled in length. His mouth was gaping wide and he opened his big eyes. Duddles became a Golbat hooray! Now Maqubi is putting him in the PC and bringing back MyEX. Sorry Duddles, but we only need one Poison-type on the team. Maqubi is flying back to Mossdeep City to find another place to train. Along the way, Maqubi learned of a place called Sootopolis City and its Gym Leader, Wallace. Sounds like a tough one, but for now we need to focus on the Mossdeep Gym Leader. Maqubi headed north of Mossdeep City and surfed toward a cave. On the way, she ran into a Pelipper. Maqubi was able to catch him and decided to name him TubJaw, a pretty good name for a Pelipper. Maqubi battled a few more trainers and eventually made it to the cave. The cave was called Shoal Cave, and Maqubi thought it was a good place to take a break. So until tomorrow.

You'd think Melvin's journals would be a little more telling of how anxious and stressed he feels since he only comes out of his Pokeball once in a great while and is starting to get claustrophobic, and also paranoid that he's not used as much as the other team members. I honestly would never believe that Melvin is as cheery and jovial as you make him out to be.

Larenti is taking a year long nap. Tantor is looking after Larenti from afar while traveling the world with Mr. Stake. Lakigr is up for debate. Either he's living in disgrace after the death of his team or lying dead atop Mt. Silver. OR, living under the false name of Red with his new team; Striker, Bork Lazer, and the unused Lapras (whose nickname I forget) are the surviving members of Lakigr's original adventure, along with the Blastoise and Venusaur stolen from Nuttsack and Professor Oak respectively, and a Pikachu that is the sole child of Buttdork.

But Macargo would be worse. Has 4x weakness to 2 types one of which is used by a Gym leader a member of the Elite 4 (mostly) and the champion. If he doesn't die he will just not be used. I would swap in Gurds take her out of retirement. be nice to have a solid fighting base for the ice elite 4 since Skrunch bit the dust and Thegame is at risk from ice moves.

What's funny is that Grant and OneKids both got their start on Pokemon Abridged, and then TFS went all Borg on them like "we will add your likeness to our own." I miss YYH Abridged. I was sad when Lani said he wasn't doing it anymore. But at least I got to meet him at Omni Expo, the con they talk about in this video and got him to do Yusuke's signature Finger Bang. At that same con, Taka had just premiered as Cell and I told him "your Cell is the creepiest Abridging voice since Pokemon 'Bridged's Brock. He stood up, looked me in the eyes and said "BREEEEEEEDING..." It was a great time and I hope you guys get to do another Orlando con again.

Doing a cursory search on TV Guide, they have over 80(!) channels available OTA, though my count might be off by a bit since a handful of them are duplicate channels. But they do have access to Comet, Grit, Movies!, MeTV, Decades, American Sports Network, ION, ION Life, Antenna, Heroes & Icons, Laff, Escape, Bounce, Buzzr, COZI (Never heard of this one, but they have The A-Team, which makes them awesome in my book), and about a dozen Independent channels. Seriously, I thought my 25 OTA channels was a lot.
