Great video. Cobra has an air intake for these that looks better and out performs stock. Plus it’s actual metal which is a common gripe. I’ve had mine stock w/ some bags a few years and it’s been great. Now it’s time to start adding some upgrades.

That seems like a terrific bike. As an admirer of the Fury and a one-day-I'll owner of a VTX1300, this is a very interesting bike. I'm planning to visit USA in January and ride some of the roads along the very bottom of the country. If you're along that way, would love to cross paths. Great vid as always mate.

I have a 2015 Stateline, in my opinion this is the best metric cruiser ever (and I've owned a few). It's a pure traditional v twin motorcycle. No stupid unnecessary electronics or tech, that will eventually date the bike or that will go bad with age. Just a speedo, odometer, tip and clock, Thats all!!! Thats all you really need anyway!!! Very little maintenance needed on this bike, shaft drive no chain maintenance. Great torqe and power, and still 50ish mpg, almost ridiculous reliability, the best Honda engineering has to offer. Looks great, styling that won't look dated with age. Super smooth and comfortable. Also and most of all AFFORDABLE!!!! I bought mine 6 years ago new as it was an unsold leftover, and gave 2000$ under original MSRP!!! But even gently used go for 6-7 grand generally with very low miles.... WELL WORTH IT!!! I will have this bike till I am unable to ride anymore, YES it's that good and i love it that much!!! If you looking for a good metric v twin. I’ve got the 2015 interstate , only get about 40mpg with mine. Only thing it needs is a better seat. After an hour or so in the saddle your butt aches. Got it in September 2024 with 4000 miles on it. Bought it for $4500

My Stryker came with a 210 rear, switched to a 240 due to more tire availability, rides and turns better also corrects the speedometer.

I understand the wish for bigger displacement but it's not that simple. The 1800 simply may have been too much for the bike. Even though it handles 'well' it handles far from good and what if the 1800 would just make it too unwieldly for the sunday cruiser who takes it out for it's weekly and only 25mile roundtrip? TBH, it's also taking the easy way (not meaning to insult). The other day I saw a guy saying, tyhe Vulcan S amazing bike, but it needs 900cc, or the Rebel 500 is too underpowered for highways - the verdict is always 'it needs more power' - I mean really? is that all we can come up with?

The Fury does need more power or don’t call it a Fury. Yamaha got the message with the Raider, 1800. As for the Stateline it works well as a tourer with the 1300 and the Interstate bags n glass. Honda is very capable of engineering such things that are not unwieldy with an 1800 cc motor. Take my 2014 Valkyrie, for example, perfectly balanced. My VTX 1800 was awesome as well. I thought the Rebel 500 was fine on the highway. The 300 however… I appreciate your comments and thank you for watching.

imo they made the stateline/interstate/sabre with too much fury design influence. with the rake and streched look of the tank the bike looks...flat? much prefer the vtx 1300/1800 tank design. i do agree that the fi 1300 motor is awesome and the fury should have had the 1800 motor, even tho the 1300 has a much better sound, once again imo
