Thx for the good, common sense review. Just bought a 2013 Bully and I absolutely love it. Your comments were spot on regarding handling, maneuverability, comfort, ergo, and power. Mine came modded with an Iceman Shorty 2-into-1 wide exhaust and the noise it makes is pure growly music. Ride safe!

So you can get your ECU reflashed and it will completely get rid of the "snatchiness" of the throttle, which I'd recommend. Normally I don't like the idea of modifying the stock ECU, but because of emissions laws, and the EPA, some bikes are super snatchy when rolling onto the throttle at certain RPM's, especially in lower gears, and when going around a corner. The snatchiness can actually be dangerous when doing low speed turns. I'd strongly suggest never using the friction zone. You're obviously a smart rider, but I wouldn't risk putting any stress on the clutch, because you are dealing with 118 ft lbs of torque on that bike. The shared oil of the engine and clutch, means that the engine oil gets sheared by the clutch, and the more you slip it, the more clutch particles you'll get in your engine oil. It's actually a lucky miracle that the stock clutch can handle the torque as it is!

Yeah its a pretty temperamental beast isn't it? No slipper clutch means you really need to be careful with quick downshifts, so you don't lock up the rear wheel! It seems like quite a few bikes suffer from snatchy throttles these days, due to the emissions laws. The only one that has been super smooth for me is the 765 Street Triple, they are like butter stock.

Most people get around 35mpg from what I've seen. but if you go easy on it, you might be able to get 40 out of the m109r.....but who goes easy on these :p :p

Hi, there must be something wrong with your device or headphones that you are using, the audio is excellent for me on my device. I treated each audio track with a multi band compressor before export for clarity as well. If you could give it a shot on a different device and let me know, I would appreciate it :)
