the older toon monsters that have to be special summoned always say they need tributes for their summon, and the number of tributes equals the tribute summon rules. so if the toon card says "normally 0" and its level is 4 or lower, then ye you can special summon it without tributing. they only added that as an orientation cause for toon summoned skull you'd normally need 1 tribute cause it has 6 stars, but the number of tributes for its special summon can become 0 if you use cost down to make it level 4. nice video btw :) keep on with this series.

Toon Alligator is the only "Toon" monster that's not a "Toon monster". So, Toon Defense wouldn't work for it. Lol.

He could have summoned toon summoned skull first turn because read his ability. It says Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Cannot be Special Summoned unless you control "Toon World". Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing the same number of monsters needed for a Tribute Summon (normally 1). This card cannot attack the turn it is Special Summoned. You must pay 500 Life Points to declare an attack with this monster. If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. This card can attack your opponent directly, unless they control a Toon Monster. If they do control one, this card must target a Toon Monster for its attacks. It’s technically not a tribute summon because all you have to do is tribute 1 card on the field and then you can special summon it

@@zipzero7420 it's the same text as dark strike fighter. But even under those implications whenever a card says tribute, it's implied that it's from your field. Only way you could tribute an opponents monster is if the card said you could or you activated a card like soul exchange.

Sam, as crazy as these duels were I’ll offer you a bit of advice for next time. Try using Ishizu Ishtar’s Gravekeeper’s Deck. If you can get Gravekeeper’s Shaman(which is treated as Necrovalley) on the field alongside Hidden Temples of Necrovalley neither player can Special Summon monsters except Gravekeeper’s monsters. You’ll have a huge advantage over your friend here if you play your cards right.

I’m currently teaching my girlfriend how to play (using speed duel decks) and shes super into it. It’s quite fun and refreshing playing with all the classic cards from the show. Would definitely recommend speed duels especially for new players learning the game. It’s fun, inexpensive and simple to play.

I picked up these decks a few days ago and I have to say the Kaiba deck is honestly OP for this format. The Dragon Caller skill allows for some crazy plays and the sheer attack points of his normal monsters are just too high for a lot of the other decks to match. When I was playing against my friend it wasn't uncommon for me to pull off a turn 1 or 2 Tyrant Dragon or Blue-Eyes just because of the Dragon Caller skill. Because there are two Lord of D. In the deck and one Flute, it isn't hard to open with one or the other in your hand.

just Cral no it’s definitely not OP in comparison to amazon’s. It pretty much hard loses to amazon’s (swords women, amulet, and halfshut), and also it does still have the ability to brick. So because of amazon’s reigning supreme for the most part I don’t think people would be taking blue eyes to a local tournament as they just hard lose to them. I’m talking constructed though, if you and your buddies are just playing with the starter decks then yeah blue eyes definitely reigns supreme, but in constructed blue eyes doesn’t stand a chance against amazon’s. Also in two weeks we’re getting the water boss monster daedalus and with the support in the set it’s looking like it’s going to be really strong, as well as relinquished getting more support that will definitely make it a contender. So the format is evolving soon and I personally see blue eyes being left behind very soon. That’s just my take on it, I could be wrong as the few people who play at my locals don’t touch blue eyes because everyone else mostly runs amazon’s and they side deck for blue eyes.

Its a really fun way to learn and play yugioh... my son and i play it and after a while my wife started to play also and dominated the field over and over with the water deck. After a while we started to use 8000 life points.. longer play but stil simple enough... its a great game!

Eric Stuart had played as Seto Kaiba in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, as well as James and Brock from Pokémon for quite some time in first eight seasons I believe, except it was Ted Lewis as James during the episodes 2-8 of Pokémon. Darren Dunstan plays as Pegasus, but not as James.

TGS Anime: right at the start you did a bad play, with toon summoned skull, and toon table of content, if you have more then one toon table of content, you can get toon table of content with toon table of content, but since you got toon summoned skull, when you normal set toon mask sorcer, you can tributed right away to special summoned toon summoned skull, because of your skill card you already got Toon world.

I've always thought that the Speed Dual Starter Decks are Unbalanced in Terms of Power and Strength and the Playability and the Winnability, with Pegasus being one of the Weakest Unless you some how Create Relinquish or get Lucky I feel. I have even Tested that out my Pitting Pegasus against Mai, and Mia Won Both Rounds First Me as Pegasus then me Against Pegasus, and as I have said Mai Won Both Rounds and Tests. But I well say this for Pegasus I do like his Skills and the Abilities of his Toons but Unfortunately it's Not all that Good in Dual Sitting I feel they are A Risk to Run, so think you for Proving that on Screen.

Yes, but with less cards. We get an actual new set with more skills and more cards to had more variety to the speed duel format later. Right now Amazoness is Oppressive

If willing to spend the money, I recommend trying to start him on Duel Links. Lets Sam gain a much higher understanding of cards as well as speed dueling while trying to keep up with the meta. Its slowly growing too since there isnt pendulums or xyz yet which he has not learned. Edit: i kinda forgot u have to grind skills but eh
