I used to have a Micro Machine train as a kid. They also came with straight tracks. Unfortunately they didn't handle the curves very well. Anything more than 2 curved tracks in a row, and they would pull off the track.

Wow, I love Chips(fries) +Curry sauce, and I love the TGV. I traveled on that thing once! The tracks are so smooth it makes you less aware of the high speed. Mostly straight track, haha. Hey, looks like ikonictoys makes a wooden TGV in blue/gray

Many moon ago I bought a N64 Transfer Pack on eBay. They shipped it with no padding in a PopTarts box with the address literally scribbled on in Sharpie, you can imagine how well that thing works now... I'm frankly surprised it made it to me at all. Neat find, I had no idea Micro Machines made trains, I'll have to lookup a list.

I have never seen a micro machines TGV before. I wish I had bought the horizon express when it was in stores. If only LEGO would make the blue, black, and grey TGV train. In Australia we call French fries chips too. The difference is we call them hot chips to distinguish them from potato chips/crisps. The only time we call hot chips French fries is at McDonald’s and hungry jacks which is what Burger King is in Australia. Burger King had to change its name in Australia because the name Burger King was already trademarked by a takeaway joint in my home city of Adelaide in the state of South Australia. We don’t call KFC chips French fries because they are thick not thin like McDonald’s

the tab on the bottom is so you can motorize it with a special track set "Micro Machines Power Train City" if you wanted to get one, there rare but I had on before my house burned down

Itll roll if its on there properly and you should probably make a bigger oval not a circle. You put the trains onto straight track. It normally has two end locos, two cars with the step down flare, and one middle car.

Do you use the original couplers on the HO trains that you buy or do you put different ones on?

Are the couplers 'one way', as in there is a hole on one side and a vertical bar on the other, or are they the same on either side? You put the two passenger cars that have the end that face the engines only on one end. (I.e. the LEGO one has the higher roof near, facing, the engines on the passenger car.)
