That thing in front of her whistle is the safety valve not a bell. Unlike the other Bachmann N scale Thomas models Emily actually has spoked wheels, that's a nice touch by Bachmann. The face looks a bit off though. For once I think the HO scale has a more accurate face.

From what I've heard, Emily is a terrible runner. It sounds like Bachmann put all their efforts of Gordon. And the body of the coach is just a repainted Annie and Clarabel.

@TrainTsarFun Maybe there was a bad batch, but I definitely can see her stutter while moving a bit. Also, she's way too fast, but that's because she doesn't have a flywheel. Which is odd seeing that the others have flywheels. But the coache main body's are Annie and Clarabel recolours. How hard would it have been to make a new body?

Good video Someone else beat you to the emily review tho nd there model was apparently a bad one But is yours good ? Cuz I am one day getting Emily . For the fact I live only a hour away from york railway museum where the real life emily is placed on static display . However . I know I will want one eventually and a rake of her coaches too I wouldn’t be too shocked ! Tho . Good review . And what’s your thoughts on her model for N scale ?

I see nothing wrong with it. Like I said in the video - if you like the ho scale and g scale then you’ll like this. If you didn’t like those then you might not like this. They all appear virtually identically except for the scale. I’m happy with my purchase

@@TrainTsarFun well that’s good But me being in the uk and a smallish house … the uk dont have Bachman Emily yet over here so I never got her and G scale is out the question with my space and British weather being rain rain and more rain . So I can’t comment on the OO or G models of her ! But I am grabbing the N scale Percy this year ! So hopefully he will work nicely !

Yea - it’s like people forgot. That’s why I was thinking if people liked the others you would like this and if you didn’t like the others you wouldn’t like this. It’s just a scaled down version of the same thing. Although looking at it magnified now the face might be a little different

Bachmann really dropped on Emily for the N-Scale. Probably their weakest release in the range thus far :/
