Love the fact that Cobra are making a proper 4w - a much underrated club. I grew up playing a 2w and a 4w (in persimmon, yes I am that old!) and have delofted my Epic 5w to 17 degrees to get that 4w feel.

great review! loved the numbers on all three and you hit the tour really well! I need to try the stock 3. I also saw you trying the different shafts... which one did you like better?

How do these compare to the standard F9 fairways ? I have the 3 W & 4 w. (4 wood is set at -1 deg , 17.5 deg). Custom built by club champion NJ With ACCRA M4 fx 2.0 shafts. I love them both. My 3 w. Stats are similar to yours. 96 mph, 221 carry yards. Also have the 3H & 4H F9 hybrids with same ACCRA shafts. Honestly don’t think it’s worth changing to the speed zone heads. What is your take on it ?

I have the f9 driver and 3 wood and have had the chance to try both sz driver and 3 wood and i get no more performance at all. To me it shows how good the f9 woods are when they came out so i won't be changing at all.

Darren bell Have you compared the F9’s to ping G410+? From everything I’ve seen and heard on KZbin, the ping G410+ are more forgiving and have a better dispersion

@@stephendibari7704 yes i own a g410 plus also as i bought this after the f9 but honestly i cannot split these two drivers. The g410 is slightly more forgiving but distance is the same and depends on my strike on the day but i play off 6 and i am a very good ball striker but for me the g410 and f9 are very much equal and the best two drivers on the market today.

I have to say i can be as accurate with the f9 as the g410 so it's all about getting the right shaft to fit your swing

Darren bell I hear you. I have yet to hit the G410+, but will next spring. Just had rotator cuff surgery four days ago. From what I read on MyGolfSpy’s website the G410+ has the 2nd highest MOI (PXG is the Highest) and the F9 with Heaviest weight forward (which is my set up) has one of the lowest MOI’s. I know a lot of this has to do with strike location and swing but in my 21 rounds this year my F9 was anything but accurate. I had a left and right missed going. Everything I’ve seen and read on KZbin, the dispersion of the G410+ typically is #1 in comparison tests.
