I believe how we feel about someone before we know them is very much about who they consciously or subconsciously remind us of based on past experiences. Many times, this doesn't automatically relate to the actual character of the person as much as how open we are to them. “Despite how open, peaceful and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you, as deeply as they’ve met themselves.” -Matt Kahn I love this quote…❤ Therefore, it is important to acknowledge that we all have our own internal biases and opinions, and that we should not judge someone based solely on our initial impressions. If we take the time to get to know someone better, we might find out there’s more to them, and our instinctive dislike may disappear. Fact: I am not amiable a l l the time either! Who is??? *wink 😉 Sometimes, people who dislike us may have justifiable reasons. So, we should keep an open mind to constructive criticism and realize we all have room for improvement. Amen. Phew! 😊😊😊
