Hi Nicole, I came across your channel on KZbin and I found your videos very helpful and interesting. I would like to ask you to make a video on short vowels pronunciation. I am looking forward to watch your new videos. Enjoy the weekend.

Hello Vadim. Thank you for your suggestion. I mention short vowels and long vowels briefly in the video about the silent E at the end of words. Short vowels are a pretty extensive topic, especially since many languages are lacking most of these vowels that are so common in English. I could do a brief overview of short vowels in 1 video, but they really need to be taught over several lessons. Stay tuned for that, and thanks so much for taking the time to leave comments.

Thank you for your wonderful and useful videos. Can you give a tip on how to identify when the S sounds like a Z? Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words. That is a bit complicated and there's not always a way to know. Try watching my video on the Z sound for some tips.

Good trick with the fingers the voiced is easy but the the unvoiced is proven hard for me in the middle of words and the end of them when it's in the beginning of words it's more easy.
