I take that back, they installed it correctly, but for some reason it keeps binding up against the bolt head next to it.

These are amazing videos. I have a bad TH350 on my Corvette c3 from '79. Can I use the same kits to restore the transmission?

You’re meticulous about cleaning everything, why do you not clean out the valve body tubes with brake cleaner before putting the new spring and piston assemblies back in? Or even remove & clean that third tube that you didn’t have to change anything on given the gunk you found in the other two? I’ll likely never be involved in this, but it’s very interesting. Love your how-to videos. 👍👍

Great question. Tbh, the gunk wasn’t too bad in there. I had a section of video filmed where I was checking down the tubes and the file was corrupted so I couldn’t upload it. But the “gunk” usually only gets stuck in places like the ones you saw. The tubes done really have anywhere for the gunk to get stuck. So they were all pretty clean. These videos were something I made because it was part of the build. Ot the most fun to watch but helpful to people when they want to do a rebuild. Starting in the frame videos and everything else soon. Ot showing every detail. But enough of it to get the point across. Should be good. Thanks for the support!
