Not to take away from his voice or anything, but as a music tech nerd, this voice works so well with the Neumann u87 ai. It really brings forth that clarity and depth to his voice, along with that smoothness in the low mids that gives off that calmer narration feel. That gives me a consistent tone from video to video. I have eq on my RE20 (the black microphone you see when I appear on camera). I have the California Smile on that mic, and it works pretty well. I want to get a Sennheiser 416, as most casting directors I talk to want that or the Neumanns (103 and u87s). I've never used a shotgun in my own booth, and I'd love to try it out.

I look at that and wonder why we don't have that here. I see so many countries doing things better than us, and wonder why can't that be us? But Republicans only run on what can help businesses. I own a business; those tax cuts would personally benefit me. But what are they doing for everyone else? I'm extremely left-wing and I've seen Birdman attack the left multiple times. I've even agreed with him on many of those occasions. If you're so deep into an ideology or worldview that you're incapable of hearing criticism against it without getting upset, it's time to stop and take stock of how you've lost your objectivity, if you ever had any at all. I happen to think there are things that good people can disagree on and still remain good people. I also follow MauLer despite the..."quality" of some of the people that he associates with on his stream. I don't know why the whole "if you're not with me in every aspect of every point, you're against me" mentality is becoming so prevalent nowadays. As a scientist, I'm used to principled disagreements with my peers. It doesn't mean that I hate or lose any respect for them as long as the disagreement is held with integrity. If you're someone with a PhD in microbiology and your job is peddling creationist BS for Ken Ham, you've moved way past that line, but most disagreements in my field are with honest actors who have legitimate reasons and arguments backing them up.
