have you tried the old x box camera and scanect . prob not the best quality but does work

Used to have a kinect but stopped using it. We have an Einstar right now we're playing with and the software is SO MUCH BETTER than the 3dmakerpro one. The hardware seems good in the 3dmakerpro but its crippled by the poor software you have to use with it.

Did you download the calibration file before using the scanner? I agree the software has a steap learning curve, but after a while I got really great results, even combining different scan from different angles with very acurate measurements. Wouldn't blacken a company in public this way, before checking, you did everything right and followed the instructions.

Perhaps you should follow us to learn how to use it before batching a company. We got the best result over and over again with the Moose. I suggest you see my tutorial. Yes, it is in Spanish ,but as you should know, you can activate CC to English.

After using the Einstar we will not go back. The moose is horrible compared to a better scanner.

We just ordered an einstar scanner to replace this. Need something thats reliable and works.
