It’s the plot, it’s so good. You’ve done your due diligence, the foreshadowing leaves me in anticipation for what is to come. I want to know who this “bastard” is. @@Baldermort It absolutely baffles me to think these narratives take a back seat to the lore breakdowns - in terms of views. The originality of this series is fantastic. For example when they are fighting the noise marines and Thaddeus puts a bolt with a seal through our psykers tongue to get the upper hand. So perfectly grim dark. Brilliantly original. When killing your characters you tow that line very well. No one feels completely safe. I can’t wait to see the retinues intermingle. Not to mention the new inquisitors. I wonder if Thaddeus will plunder what’s left of the unfortunate inquisitor’s ship from the Ordo Xenos. I’m a big fan of the short horror in the black library - “The Watcher in the Rain” and “Perditions Flame”. This series stands shoulder to shoulder with those titles (in my opinion). Thank you mate 🙏
