I think a lot of those little touches are probably being sacrificed in part to contend with their precarious financial situation. However those are the little touches that make or break a premium experience.

they will not refurbish HS-TKK - R for at least another 3 years because they're all leased. Also, the menu is baked into the IFE.

Their business class fare cost 20% cheaper than CX or SQ. I am not fussed about the service.

Thai Airways is nice. Maybe best service experience i ever had on a flight. Even better than on my Qatar Airways flights. I also uploaded a trip report for A350 Thai Airways Business Class. Best regards Alex

I’m not sure the rules by CAAT have already changed or not. If the same rules are still impose the airlines which registered in Thailand can’t provide anything except safety card in the seat pocket. For the domestic flight in Thailand right now, CAAT still not allow airlines to serve any food or drink as well.

If Thai are going to make it in the future then they need to get there business flight up to date and quickly..No more Thai lies that the poos cabin crew must tell passengers. I will stick with KLM until Thai Airways upgrades its business class to where it once was. Very good report Ricky as it has helped me make my mind up not to fly Thai just yet.

TG is one of the worst airlines in Star Alliance. I had a very bad experience with them - the In-flight Manager had a nonchalant attitude and avoided handling a problem I raised.

Thai Airways is absolutely horrid. I doubt they will ever regain the accolades they got 10 years ago because the company from the top to the bottom is severely struggling. This shows clearly closer to the bottom as in the condition of their business class. It looks disgusting and dilapidated. Knowing the state of the cabin, and how the maintenance bar in Thailand is so low - I'd be scared to fly a long-haul with them. Glad to see you arrived.
