Most of the bachler degree graduteds are still unemloyed (me included) due to lots of companies and civil organizations prefers the experienced workers over the newly graduated ones. The situation is even worse when tons of experienced workers got lay-offed during the first wave of COVID-19 which make the chance of getting employed even low than it was.

It's not, it's terrible with bad attitude cabin crew and check-in crew. Put simply customers are a nuisance. HAd one really bad exprience flying business class with my Thai 18 year old son Bangkok to Jakarta; after evening meal all finished and all packed away my son asked politely for a glass of Coca Cola, bus class hostess didn't stop to take his order just yelled at him 'go and ask in economy class' and kept walking. Being a crew member myself, not for Thai I can really relate to a lot in this video. The embarrassment I feel handing our premium customers food on one tray for a business class service is shameful. Especially when they pay so much to fly with us. So much stuff now is only 'on request'. Mostly this comes from the airlines clawing back any un-necessary costs as possible to recover from the pandemic. When does this end though? The aviation industry is in a bad place at the minute so being patient with them at this time is obviously essential. Hopefully we will get back to life as it was pre-pandemic so we can all get back to doing what we love soon! Great video.

I really appreciate all the crew and pilots to continue to transport us all around the world in these sad times. As a passenger, I become more patient and understanding with all temporary cost cutting measures. I know sooner or later, things should go back to what it once was. Now in 2022, some airlines offer meal services course by course (Qatar, Singapore etc.), some still do the one tray get all style. I have a good feeling that, say, by 2023 or 24, things should go back to normal. Let's hope so.....

Thai have had issues for so long. Its one crisis after another. Many years ago they were starting a new direct from NY to Bangkok with the A346. I booked in advance. Thailand does not have oil. And unlike Emirates, Qatar airways, and their middle eastern competitors, they cannot be profitable without passengers. Gulf airlines can have record profits without a single passenger

As a Thai citizen, I am happy to see many comments that express their good times with Thai Airways. But anyway their financial status has not been great even before COVID-19. So COVID-19 is just worsening the bad financial state. Your flight to Phuket before London is just their way to cope. And I am sorry for that. You would not believe that Thai airways even tried selling their famous fried dough. It became a frenzy for a moment since people kinda felt nostalgic for the delicious dough on planes. I really hope the management will be more efficient and reasonable, so this airlines can really shine the way it used to be.

In May there will be a court which will assemble Thai Airway's creditors to vote on the plan. Two possible scenario If a majority of creditors vote yes, the court will appoint rehabilitation plan administrators and Thai Airways will conduct its business according to the plan If a majority of creditors vote no, it will be the end of Thai Airways and we will all just sad For me, I think they will vote yes

Thank you very much for sharing this. As a Thai, I feel tragic to see our flag carrier in this state. I frequently fly between Bangkok and London but the last one with TG was back in 2019! That's right, I found alternatives that cost less and offer almost the same or even better in some elements. The round trip between London-Bangkok-London costs around 2500GBP for TG but less than 2000 for those LX and AY even though their services are back almost 100%...

One thing about Finnair is that their flight map on long haul has a time line for the major (and even minor) servings. This is at least on their newer fleet, like A350s.

Thai Airways has been banned from US airports since 2015 after failing a safety compliance inspection. I loved Thai and once took a marathon flight from California to BKK which has been non-existent for almost 2 decades. I hope things resolve as the world gets back to normal. New Subscriber in Cali

I flew every month on thai for 6 years.Econiomy class is great they give you as much beer and food as you want and the girls are young and willing. Business class is a nightmare the staff are old and male they always save the back row just for themselves even if you want to move they away from a person next to you. They close the bar early and disapear.

Hello Dan, nice video. I like the colours in Thai Airways. About the 17 hours, well, BKK is far from LHR and you knew that the flight was via HKT. In Business Class I would sleep as much as possible, very nice there. So I also wouldn't need a WIFI. People can choose airlines with or without it. About the menu: It happened to me with many different airlines that they didn't give me a menu when I ordered a special meal, specially in Business Class. I will be very happy to fly with Thai Airways again this year.

Thanks! It seems like there are no menus at all due to COVID, but I could be wrong🤷♂️

nice honest review. I'm flying from LHR-BKK with Thai airways in 7days time. I've 99% of the time fly with Thai airways direct to bkk and I always enjoy flying with them. it's been 2 years since I've not been to Thailand. im looking forward to going back in April this time and for the first time I've booked business class. appreciate your review but I'm still really looking forward to my first trip to Thailand in business class. it's a shame they don't do the menu which I was quite looking forward to add to the experience but it's not put me off anything better then economy class food lol .

I just flew with Thai in business in this configuration 3 days ago from Phuket to FRA direct. It was a A350. Loved the crew , and this seat - by the window, was really private. But the video choice on their system? Really bad. They’re showing us tv series that never lasted for more than a few episodes ! 😂

It is probably best not to stay on the aircraft if the next leg is a really long one. Health-wise, it is much better to walk around for an hour. Most people overeat on an aircraft due to boredom, which can affect them with a negative mood.

Yeah, I’ve got to agree with some of the other people. If you go to google flights you can find Flights from Atlanta to Munich for $700, on Turkish airlines, IF you go through Istanbul(not Constantinople). And similar to your flight the difference between that and the $1100 flight is The latter is nonstop and it’s only 8 1/2 hours, Versus 14 hours.

The flight became 17 hours because of a technical stop at Phuket, which you know from the moment you decided to book. It must have been the price point in comparison to say, BA (If direct), or QR, EK, any of those if you don't mind to transit? Personally I like day flights, you get more things done (you can still choose to sleep since you do have a flat bed), you arrive in London at night and ready to call it a day and sleep away the jet lag, instead of arriving early in morning in zombie mode. Despite Covid and their sad financial state, they still tried their best. The J cabin looks very neat, food and amenities all look up to par.

Recently had a flight with Thai airways in economy class, from Frankfurt to BKK. They did it in exactly 10 hours and 10 minutes! and it was a pleasant flight. The unbeatable advantage of Thai airways is that they offer direct flights from Germany to Thailand. For me, the essential thing is the flight to the destination and not the food. So I allowed myself a few drinks.Emirates airlines have these minibottles of Scotch Whiskey, Thai airways does not have them, there is whiskey from the large bottle in the plastic cup. But should I therefore accept a total of 5 hours 30 minutes longer travel time and additional check-in and security check via Dubai? I bought half a liter of single malt scotch whiskey at duty-free in Frankfurt and the problem was solved. But that's why I don't have to stigmatize an airline in times of Corona, dear Dan.

I can say one thing and that’s that they have improved a lot. The lounge is the same but now they will give you options on the plane once your op in the sky on what you want for dinner and breakfast and you tell them what you want so they now exactly what to give you when it’s time to eat. The movies haven’t really improved. But over all I think they have definitely improved from when you where flying. So give them a little break

Something I have always wondered about. Every KZbin video is always spouting about how it only cost a few dollars along with the thousands of air miles or points they spent. What about how these points were earned? I know credit cards with gifted points in signing up are often cited as the source for ‘free’ points but surely taking on cards for that reason alone (ie; more and more credit) isn’t really great financial advice?
@morten32192 жыл бұрын
@@stevena9305 ...and probably can't account for all those flights in business class, payed by only using miles.
