Congratulations, you did it again (Thai) Sounders! Thank you! My Dad suffered a massive stroke 2 months ago and due to the severity of his stroke, his care team left us absolutely hopeless; they told us there is no hope for recovery and IF he pulls through, he will be vegetated and unable to recognize or understand us. Due to Covid, my Mom is the only person allowed to visit my Dad. Unchained Melody is one of his all time favorite songs and we all know the healing effects of music and so my Mom played him the English version last week on one of her visits and he started crying. Today, she played Sounders' version and he cried again. These emotions he expresses leaves us hopeful that he is aware and alert and that he does understand. Thank you so much (Thai) Sounders, for the gift of music. I'm hopeful this will help aid in his recovery process. ✌peace, ♡love, & light🕯.

Sorry to hear that about your dad.. my dad had a stroke too at the end of 2020 and it was hard for me especially since he speaks limited English.. don’t feel discouraged the doctors don’t always know all. My dad’s stroke was misdiagnosed since it didn’t show up in the scan. He wasn’t treated in time, but he is alive and recovering. Praying for the best outcome for your dad and family, sending love

I remember back in the early 2000s, I was a freshmen in college and found myself away from Hmong people for the first time. I ventured into the mIRC world and found the Hmong community that way. It was then that I was introduced to your music (and many other Hmong music for that matter) for the first time by my friend Cici. She moved away to Australia after getting married. Over 20 years later, I can finally say I understand and appreciate your voice and music. :)
