Im a Thai man who have been married 3 times. First wife is Thai, secind a white American, and third is Isaan Thai woman. I just want to add that Thai woman prefer a foreinger to take them out and live in the western country. IF it was up to them, they do t want to live in Thailand because of easy access and temptation to other woman. When it comes to Thai men dating women, it doesn't exclusively have to be Thai women, for all we know one reason why many Thai women are dating foreigners, same reason why there was no Thai men picked up to be interviewed in this video in the first place. It's obvious, isn't it? Why interview Thai women, why not interview Thai men themselves directly? That's to avoid some unwanted answers, as the Thai girl might deem to be: it's about money most of the time they catch foreign men. I'm into foreign women like in the South, where a lot of Thai men there date white women or even have children with them. But they have to work hard for stability of their families, opening bars, restaurants, or resorts with partners from the foreign lands. And here in Bangkok city, I'm doing the same. As a Thai man, I date foreigners but then again, it might be because I have oversea experience and faily tall. As for concerning about foreigners coming to steal the ladies, I can wholeheartedly say that not at all. I can't think of a reason on a get go but nope, not at all. If you like our ladies then you may like our culture, food and language therefore its more like "you're the man" than "oh no...them predators." As for seeing if they are smart or educated when talking with them, well if they have completed a degree, many who have still can't point out on a map where North America or Europe is. Even though some of them hang out with foreigners everyday. Many Thai women all they care to talk about is the lottery , food or how much it cost to get their nails done. I've sat and listened to Thai people talk in Thai for many years and most Thai people don't want to talk about anything on a deep level. On Thai Talk With Paddy on his KZbin Channel he has interviewed some Thai women who have lived in Europe for long periods of time like 10 to 30 years and they say when they go back to Thailand they miss having a deep conversation like when they live in the west. Thai people are good at making "small talk " but for the most part they don't want to talk about things that are deep.

If foreigner think that it's not difficult to find a Thai partner due to economic status, it's much easier for Thai men who have good economic and social status to get women. Poor men can not take care of women, so many of them choose not to marry. Middle class and wealthy men have a lot of options, but to get the right one seems to be a little difficult. Yes, Thai women must learn American culture. When my wife got here to USA from Thailand. I told her American culture is: wife do Laundry, wife Cooks Dinner, wife cleans house and most importantly, in summer wife mows lawn, and in winter wife shovel snow from driveway 😁

Most foreigners have only met with certain types of these 'ladies'. There's the money aspect --enjoying a lifestyle they wouldn't normally have. Banking as much as they can for themselves and families. Then there's the class or face system where a local girl will always want to 'marry up' in society. Quite a lot of educated Thai ladies try to achieve this type of relationship. Basically foreigners only get access to the women the Thai guys don't want OR there's a Thai guy in the background collecting monies! *Just stay single!

Interesting topic! After having read many follow up comments and in my opinion, it's not about Thai but rather Man & Woman mind sets. Woman wants a man who could provide financial stability. Here is what someone told me once --> when a woman has no money, a man will find 99 ways to provide, but when a man has no money, a woman will find 99 ways to dump him. This may not be true with all the cases but give it a try and you will see...LOL.

I find it very interesting that 'light skin' women in Thailand are considered beautiful over 'tan skin'. For example, look at Earn, she's 'tan skin' and she's gorgeous! I first heard about this standard when I lived in Thailand when an absolutely gorgeous 'tan skin' lady told me she is not beautiful because she's not 'light skin'! 😳 Being an American, I couldn't help to think about women in America. At the time when I lived in Thailand, white women in America were considered beautiful at least in the media. Even though there are beautiful women in every shade! I wonder if there is a privilege for light skin thai women over dark skin women? In other words, a form of discrimination?

Not at the same level, but here in latiamerica, we have a similar situation. So what I see here is that Western men are bottom feeding on (S) workers, and low value, gangster own women from the worst, most dangerous hoods of Medellin. And this is the reason why thousands of them get robbed every year, and out dose thousands, 40 of them are getting deleted every year by this type of woman. Therefore Gringos are no competition for a mid, or high value Colombiano men. Perhaps it is a similar situation in Thailand??
