Some Thailand 🇹🇭 hospitals have American operations staffing/management also. I know of Vloggers from the Philippines 🇵🇭 go to Thailand 🇹🇭 for their medical. Paul and his wife Baby Mae from the channel (Old Dog New Tricks). Also Paul from (World Zoom). Paul from W.Z. managed one of the hospital in Thailand 🇹🇭.

Once again spot on with information and prices here. I opted for a high end 1 bedroom apartment in a brand new condo tower in Pattaya. From the pool on the 31st floor and the rooftop pool I have the best views in Pattaya. All for around US$500 per month. I would be paying 3 times as much back in Australia. Keep up the good work Doc

Great info, as always :) Lately, I spoke to my Dad, he lived in Thailand, but really as a retirement, and he was raving about the expensive insurance he had to pay. I told him that I heard from many people that 50€$ and above already gives perfectly fine coverage. But he was insisting, and I wasn't that sure anymore what to believe. And he had a good argument with the 60+ Insurance too. I don't know when I move to Thailand, but it will be after my parents both died. That *could* be 20 years away, and I am 40 now. Doc, thank you for making videos like these. You got a new subscriber here. Brother, I am one who DEFINITELY needs and wants a kitchen. But a kitchen without a fully functioning stove (not just a meager single hot plate ). is to me what a bedroom with no bed is to you. Since I am also a vegan, many times I need to cook my own. Lots of vegans in Thailand, mostly in Bangkok , but they are in the other tourists areas. Then there are others who are not vegan who have their girlfriends cook at home I do need a completely functioning or well equipped kitchen, pots and pans, stove , microwave and FULL SIZE or almost full size refrigerator. I simply avoid and ignore any places without a good kitchen. I ask, if you are so very kind, that if you know of these, post them up. I will try and find some spots that have fully functioning kitchens however I will admit that it is extremely hard to find a place here with an oven... you might end up having to buy a small convection oven that you would put on the counter.... It's way cheaper to eat out here Facts Mate!!!! maybe not in the Philippines but here definitely cheaper to eat out no question at all.... Come over here and try stocking a kitchen with all of the ingredients you're going to need to properly cook... Yes if you just want to boil some rice at home or fry an egg I guess you can eat cheaper at home but you definitely cannot stock a kitchen here and cook at home cheaper than you can go out and eat those are just the facts sorry. again maybe it's different in the Philippines but it's definitely not like that here

I was there in Okt rent a honda psx 160cc 4000 bath a month wery Nice to drive . Always rent a room closed to Patong tower. 800 bath a day walking over the road are on the beach ... The hotel is renowned very nice room .. The massage there is 200 bath ❤

tik tokers hit phuket as tourists and stay at tourist places at high prices and just see food prices at those venues. those venues are typically 3-5 X normal price. local knowledge as well as transport will take you to tons of normal price places

However in rainy season when you get down to the beach and you see how gross the water looks you'll be thankful that you have a pool.... I notice you hanging out in Patong a lot, I recognize everywhere you are. But you have to either rent a scooter (and risk your life) or pay a tuk tuk or bolt to drive you to town, which adds up. I have been to Phuket four times to train and stayed near bangla just so I wouldn't have to rent a scooter and risk getting killed or a shakedown by cops. Going there off season to see if the apartment situation is better. During season I couldn't find anything under $1k. This was last year. How far do you have to drive from where you rent to Patong?

Hotels and Guest houses 400/500 a night. If there’s a pool you have your exercise each day for free and people like yourself to chat to. One hour oil massages 250baht. 89 baht full English breakfast Soi Buakhao 65 baht beers most cafes 10 baht pickup taxis 30 baht street food around gov departments , malls and hospitals . Pattaya. Doesn't need to be expensive. WARNING Stay away from lady drinks and the sweethearts who try to trick you into buying them I do spend 1,500 Baht a month on gym membership. That’s 50 baht a day. Girls like the guns?

you are completely right and I can tell you this much that there's actually a lot of hotels right here on Phuket that are less than 400 Baht a night ... the price is your quoting are easily found everywhere here... Why hello Ken there Dr. Marc - - you make a pretty good case for the cheap prices of a lot of things in Phuket. It would be helpful to me if you said you were referring to United States dollars or Canadian dollars or another countries dollars because each has different values. If I can recall, the United States dollar is stronger than the Canadian dollar by about .3? Also, you always show those beautiful beaches and I am wondering if you can save some money by fishing? Why hello again Dr. Marc - - I’m probably mixed up because I know you’re Canadian and they have a dollar to so I don’t know if you’re talking about Canadian or American. Here’s my suggestion to fix this problem. Just buy a couple baseball caps and have a symbol of a Bot and a symbol of a US dollar embroidered on the front of the hat. It could say one US dollar equals so many bots. I think that you're forgetting that you have a full time job as a KZbinr keeping you busy all day where the average guy will need to occupy himself and that costs money. Cooking, a room that he feels isn't a prison and some companionship costs money. If I were to move there (decided against it) I'd get a house and outfit it with more than the basics. Nice kitchen, tv, bed, maybe an above ground pool. I'd certainly not live full time in an entry level tourist condo.

Definitely valid points however as I am showing a lot of the guys that are reaching out to me going on adventures like I do doesn't have to be just for KZbin it can be for fun..... there are a lot of days that I don't take my camera with me at all I just walk around and enjoy myself. Or I take my camera with me and I found myself talking while I'm out doing things that I enjoy. You tell me how that condo with the beautiful wood accents the washer and dryer combo the full kitchen the swimming pool you tell me how that's an entry level prison???? I didn't put in money for companionship because again everybody is different. I also did not cover every single thing in this video as I said I was giving some basic knowledge to people showing them that Phuket is not as expensive as these people are showing it. I would love to have my own house here but the problem is I'm not allowed to own one and you're not allowed to own one as a foreigner I hope you understand that mate. You can rent one or you can go to one of these girls that you're going to find companionship with and give her all your money and lose it if you'd like. But again I'm not sitting in my room all day long I'm out doing things I'm enjoying myself I'm going for walks I'm going for hikes I'm going down to the beach swimming I'm going on drives. And yes there are times that I do it for KZbin. I think what you're forgetting is that I'm trying to show guys what's possible. Thanks for watching and commenting

I like you but c'mon. those rooms are for cheap tourists and the reason the pools. saunas and gyms are always empty is nobody cares about them. 2 hours a day is massive, more like 10 minutes a day. Lucky to do 30 min twice a week. Also, getting 10 -30 min out of the tourist area will get you a house for less than a condo. No need to buy.

Honestly mate you've got me perplexed on this one..... that condo that I showed with the wood accents the full kitchen the washer and dryer and the pool that's in a luxury condo building and is for sale at the moment for 4 million baht And as far as the pools and stuff being empty???? Again where are you living in the Philippines or Thailand? because here at our resorts and our condo complexes the pools are busy obviously not when it's pouring down rain but they're busy all the time... The saunas are not very busy but we live in a humid tropical paradise. The gyms the exercise rooms are constantly busy honestly brother I don't know what you want me to show in these videos do you want me just to cover $2000 and $3,000 USD a month places so that it kills people's dreams about being able to come here when that's not the reality of here.... the reality is that people can come here to Thailand and have a really nice spot and I'm sorry I know we're going to disagree on this and that's cool I love to disagree with people and debate with them all day long,,,,, but I'm going to tell you something brother these condos that I'm showing are nice places you might not think so but 90% of the people in the world would agree that they're far nicer than anything that they can afford back home..... again I can't remember if you're in Thailand or the Philippines but the negativity towards Thailand doesn't make any sense mate... I can honestly tell you this much back in Canada I would never drive a motorcycle because the roads are full of f****** idiots... Here I feel much safer driving a motorbike. Is it dangerous? of course it is but if you take your time pay attention stay alert don't drink and drive and avoid driving in areas that are insane you should be fine

I live in Patong Beach….. Yeah there’s traffic, yeah there are lots of idiots out there. But once you’re away from the more congested areas its a breeze. There are some expats that certainly shouldn’t own a bike here. You need to have a certain sense of awareness of what’s going on around you and know how to make what maybe a lifesaving move in milliseconds. If you don’t have that “third eye” you better develop one, or take taxis….. Otherwise the roads are mostly good on an average…. In my opinion.
