The LTS visa is the newest Long Term Visa that Thai Government has just released in last May 2022 and will be start to effective from 01 Sep 2022 (postponed from 1 July 2022 )
After the Pandamic, The Thai Government release this LTR was introduced to attract potential wealthy foreigner to invest in Thailand to stay in Thailand for 10 years
LTR Long Term Residence Visa Criteria
1) Stay up to 10 years the 1st time issued for 5 years and can renew for another 5 years
2) Yearly Fee 10,000 Baht
3) Immigration Report 1 time per year ( in stead of every 90 days)
4)
Groups who are eligible to Apply
1) Global Wealthy Citizen
2) Wealthy Pensioner
3) Works from Thailand Professional
4) High Skill Professional
To apply LTR visa each applicant must apply & get approve letter from Board of Investment (BOI)
before apply to the embassy for LTR visa - Long Term Residence Visa

Hello, thank you for the informations. But in my opinion, the Thai government is missing it’s target groups here.
Especially the group of "Work From Thailand Professionals", also called "Digital Nomads".
Many of them are highly skilled professionals, working from their laptops and spending a lot of money in Thailand and supporting the local economy. 
Unfortunately, many of these people do not meet the requirements because they are mostly solo-entrepreneurs and often don’t have a master degree. 
Many other countries offer much better visas or are planning better visas for this target group (Indonesia for example). 
In my eyes, the current requirements, makes the LTR Visa not more interesting than the previous Visa. What are the big differences? - For retirees there was the „Non Immigrant O Visa“. - For wealthy people there was the „Elite Visa“. - For investors and people who wanted to work in Thai industry, there was the “Smart Visa”. - For the “Work From Thailand Professionals” who are really interested on a better and easier Visa there are still too much requirements. So what's the big deal? The only benefit I see is the extension interval from 90 days to 1 year. But what are the other big benefits?! Maybe you can explain it. I don't get it. Kindly regards

Yes I do agreed after studies there are too much require for “ work from Thailand professional, I talked to officer ask why also too much require and they said they actually looking for Healthy wealthy work from Thailand not as what we have thought : However surprisingly this group Is one the group who have most people apply : I ll Upload more specific in depth on each category : like what are those industries they can apply for high professional skill . called 4 consulates no one can answer question what is the cost for retired couple husband with a dependent wife is it 50000 baht or 100 000 baht ? consultates cannot answer can you advise what is cost please to take decision

Hi Thank you for the great video. I am confused about the Personal income of a minimum of USD 80,000 / year in the past two years. Does it mean $80,000 income in total in 2 years or $80,000 per year for the last 2 years? Thank you very much.
