Thailand Railways 2023-A Train Ride From Bangkok Hua Lampong to Bang Sue Junction & Return

It's March 2023 and i'm in Bangkok, Thailand. On this upload we take a couple of train rides behind Hitachi diesel locomotives, from Hua Lampong to Bang Sue Junction and then back again. We finish off with locomotive 4560 shunting off its train and heading off to the Loco Servicing Point. I thought the Thai version of the 158 had been scrapped years ago. Nice to see a Derby product still going.

None scrapped yet but most stored in Makkasan Works. Two 3 car sets are still runners, one works a trip to the end of the Eastern Line & return every Sat & Sun......

No, it's an air braked train but all SRT trains in Thailand carry a Driver, Secondman and Guard......
