I listen to your stories a for about 3-4 hours everyday 7 days a week at work. It's good background noise for me. I don't think there's a story/video that I haven't listened to at least a dozen times over the last 2 years.

Story 2 - Peter wish you were on the road to film UFO-man chased by LB's - could have been a viral YT video million views "UFO-man chased by pack of Ladyboys" Story 1 - I had dated a beautiful girl recently graduated from university from Roiet but broke up, she wanted THB 1 million to marry, she was also lazy and not capable of finding a regular job. Anyway I learned a few years later I learned she was in the US working as a au pair. I later learned she married the husband, then a few years later moved to Florida and married some guy. Anyway, she seemed like a train wreck for any guy - which reminded me of your Story 1 girl. Story 3 - english speaking Aussie - LOL. Story 4 - never look cheap looking at the bill regularly, I check regularly and let the girls know I check which signals to them I can't be tricked - your advise is spot on.

I have spent 4 weeks in 3 months in Pattaya, visited dozens of bars never had any issue with bills. Everything was accurate. I found Thai people quite honest.

Thais honest?-well listen to this,I once lost a bag with 3,000 dollars,£2,000,cards, mobile phone and plane ticket, can you imagine the panic? I somehow got the number of my phone and called it, expecting it disconnected, someone answered but it was all in Thai,I was put on a bike and taken to the bus station, I was given everything back, I'd left it on an old green bus(they don't exist anymore) I was carrying 6 bags at the time, the whole family lives on these buses, that's how poor they are,I gave them 300 £ reward, what a relief and so lucky in a big city.

Haven't read your stories for a while. I always enjoy them, but it never ceases to amaze me how many nice but stupid people there are out there. In the US, the average person is stupid but not necessarily nice. I think in Thailand being nice can definitely get you out of serious trouble, but it also sets you up to be taken advantage of. People just have to use common sense when dealing with others, especially when dealing with foreign cultures. Just stay alert and don't get drunk in public and never believe hardship stories. Also learn to recognize red flags and don't give second chances. If you don't already know, these stories can be a great learning tool for people not to fall into the same traps. I've been too Thailand many times but have not used public urinals. Even in the States, at road rests, I use a booth, that I can lock. I never want to be in a situation where someone comes up to me, with one of my hands occupied.

There's an American youtuber in thailand now. He did a livestream from a bar a few nights back. You could tell by looking at him that he may have had one or two too many. He was sober enough to realize his bill had been padded. The total came to 12,700 baht. He had several drinks and bought a few lady drinks but no ringing the bell or anything like that. He let them know he was aware of what they did but he did the wise thing and paid the bill without causing much of a fuss.

It is those same high wages in the west that allow working class people to live like kings in Thailand in the first place.
