Walk away, man. Dan is giving you top notch advice here. Even if her story is 100% true, even if she genuinely has feelings for you, in her eyes you are first and foremost an economic opportunity. Any relationship you would pursue with her is going to be based on that. It's hard to see things clearly when you lead with your heart and not your head. But ask yourself some questions. In all honesty, do you think this would be the only time she asks you for a large sum of money? Do you think she'd stay with you if you turned her down? Good advice You've given him Dan, the first and the biggest red flag to me seems to be their first meeting, He says in his story that he was going to leave the bar where he was playing pool, so I suppose it must have been late. What was a possible reason for a "decent" lady to just accidentally come to a bar in Pattaya of all places in the middle of the night? Of course the clever girls there are not happy with a thousand or maybe 2000 THB for a night, they learn to play a long game especially when they are not very young anymore and their clock is ticking, they see some older bar girls and freelancers coping with the younger competition increasingly harder, not easy to find a customer anymore, some of them develop a drinking problem or start taking some drugs like yaba.

Things in issan are different from other parts of thailand.They like to marry very young (16-18) they have babies and then at 20 they divorce because they realise its a mistake to marry so young.Man stops supporting and then the lady must work as a freelancer for her kids and parents.

It’s amazing the amount of Falangs in Buriram compared to the other provinces in isan that I’ve toured. South of Thailand there are a lot of Muslims. So I guess it’s frowned on. When I had an Internet cafe in Thailand a lot of my regular late night customers were women, bars shut they would come to my shop and do their business. All of them with multiple online boyfriends, using software part of the gig was making sure no one is doing anything illegal. So I would briefly view screens while in the shop and some of them would have multiple chats going, these girls would have money, when they paid for the time always nice handbags and 1000 baht notes. I think a lot of the problem relates to Western Men not realising that part of the Thai culture is that the young are supposed to support their Parents.Etc. So in the case of these Bar Girls, who are uneducated, come from poor, and very traditional parts of Thailand, no doubt they are encouraged by their Parents to meet a wealthy Farang, etc. Unfortunately by the time the Farang realizes that this Culture does not suit him, it's too late because he's invested lots of money hoping that somehow things will work out, and all will be well. But I also think that if you go into these kind of things by being aware of things, then the chances of a successful relationship are possible. Especially if you speak Thai. It seems to me that a lot of these Men getting into relationships with these Bar Girls, are pretty clueless Men fooling themselves, looking for love in all the wrong places.

That's something i don't understand about these men. 100.000ths of women in Thailand why stay with that woman. I have no girlfriend in my country. But i know 1 thing you get over things not wright away but it will when you see things more clear. But i see relationships as things that come and go. Serial monogamy.
