No transportation medium is as relaxing as a train. For myself, I am too interested in the passing landscape and never slept a wink even after an Atlantic crossing by plane. The ride on the Thalys was fabulous.

Excellent video! But "Gare de Nord" is wrong, as "le Nord" is male. So, "Gare du Nord" would be correct! It's shown on the map at 0:12.

And the reason for the parallel high tension wiring is the same reason it is true in North America or anywhere else - putting all the Ugly Eggs in one Ugly Basket. Rail lines, high-tension (or even medium tension) wiring is untidy; therefore, they run in parallel with rail lines. (Notice that they all expressways to the mix too.)

Could Thalys TVG Trains have 10 or more Coaches? All of them have 8 coaches Each. Many TGVs each have 8 coaches but some have 10.

No, not anymore. This is only possibel with special and more expensive first class tickets. The Thalys runs today in Germany after Cologne to Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Essen and Dortmund.
