There is nothing more British than those singers stood on a boat in the pouring rain, absolutely belting out Land of Hope and Glory!

One of the most memorable parts of this event. How they managed to perform in that weather, they all deserved a medal

Love it or hate it, you've got to feel sorry for the poor girls. They'll have had their hair done, got all dressed up and then the typical crappy British weather soaks them. Hats off to them for giving it their all. LG.

Is there a video of them leaving? I remember Kate accidentally steps in front of William and he corrects her. I wonder if there is a video of that.

actually I think you'll find that is typical choral singing in Great Britain, and for something like the Queen's diamond jubilee, it's not showing off Great Britain to other nations, and trying to represent it as a whole as the olympics is, but showing the best that Britain has to offer, and I can quite safely say that other than the BBC Singers this choir is one of the best in the country. May I recommend you also listen to Zadok Rules- Hallelujah! by Alexander L'Estrange, as that was a piece of choral music arranged and composer for the Queen in celebration of her diamond jubilee, which is in much the same style of singing as this, and quite honestly, not matter how "posh" it is (which is in fact most of the time either accents or simply articulation) choral singing is beautiful, and something a lot of people put a lot of time and effort into in order for it to sound that good.

the diamond jubilee was nowhere near as good as the golden jubilee,10 year,s before, with it been the diamond jubilee, you would of expected it to have been better, but sadly not the case,& it wasen,t just the weather,a total disaster, from start to finish
