Thank you to every teacher out there. Our future children will not be able to thrive and learn without your help. It takes a whole village sometimes to raise a child. Teachers, doctors, nurses, factory workers, truck drivers, and grocery stores, daycares, small and large businesses, and most importantly parents and grandparents trying their best to teach kids during thos virus. We all need each other . Everyone is Essential !

Thank you Google and everyone else for your shoutouts and gratitude shown to teachers during this time. Now let us affirm that when the COVID-19 pandemic eventually ends and school and life return to normal, all parents, students, and school administrators return to the classroom with a newfound, refreshing, promising appreciation and respect for teachers, learning, discipline, hard work, and education at large in America. Only then will a truly eternally valuable lesson be learned and shown on the part of all recipients. Thank you.

I can say that life brings us teachers in many forms. But my best teachers were and are my two daughters. They made me see and love more than just myself....they made me see and appreciate others and the joy and love that we can spread and help if we don't close our heart once you hit your lowest mark because Mark's are just exactly that doing and learning yourself and others and what you can apply and learn and I PRAY that it is always about putting your best foot forward. Even when we feel we are on the edge and no one to catch us is we fall....remember ....GRAVITY....🤗💘

@Kolya-The-Vodka-Guzzler Dude, I'm a staunch conservative leaning towards libertarian, Christian patriot, teaching those public school kids about patriotism, liberty, critical thinking, individual responsibility, and all kinds of lessons to counter the brainwashing that you mentioned. Both my parents escaped from communist countries and I'm NOT going to let communism, socialism, Marxism, leftism, intersectionalism, or any "ism" along those lines take hold on my watch. Are those ideals infecting public schools? They sure are, but they're also infecting the media, governments, corporations, etc., etc., etc. Don't paint me with the same brush you paint those others, and I'm not alone, either.

Google, I am glad that you are a carbon-neutral search engine and that all your servers run on renewable energy. However, even though you are carbon-neutral, there is so much more potential for Google to help the planet and its inhabitants. I am certain you have heard of the search engine Ecosia and how they use most of the revenue produced by ads to plant trees. Like Google, their search engine runs completely on renewable energy mostly from solar panels. This makes them not only carbon-neutral but unbelievably, carbon-negative. I, and countless others as well, think that Ecosia has really done the right thing in using their profits for environmentally-friendly purposes. They have really made a difference and will definitely be remembered as a huge contributor to the saving of our planet. What I am trying to say is that: if Google also switched to being as carbon-negative as Ecosia by using most of their revenue (which I am sure is a lot) for planting trees and other environment boosting causes, then you could change the planet in the long-term beyond anyone's wildest dreams. If Google did this, it would be around the equivalent of removing all polluting vehicles from the face of the planet. Google, you have done a very good job of being carbon-neutral and it is massively appreciated by everybody, but if you followed Ecosia's footsteps, you will go down in history not only as the biggest search engine, but the search engine that saved the planet. I really hope you read this message. Like this comment so that Google sees this.

totalfreedom45 they are amazing, but not underpaid. They are off ALL summer. Spring break. Fall break. Holidays. Snow days. Sick days. Etc. their starting pay is over 34k average, for a basic teaching degree. So roughly, they “work” 7-8 months a year. That’s great money.
totalfreedom45 oh wow. You commented with a link that tells the same thing over and over. The starting pay, average, is again, around 34k. With just a basic teaching degree. The higher your education, the higher your pay. Obviously. They are off A LOT of time from school as well. It is THEIR choice to have a second job, just as it is our choice. Ppl also believe they should get $15 an hour to flip a damn burger. Also, because they are out in the summer and a lot of breaks, that’s another reason they have second jobs. Please think completely before you try to ramble on with things you’re not completely covering. I never said teachers didn’t do a lot. They do. It’s amazing how much children learn from help of teachers. Anyway, that’s my comment. Sorry you’re so upset about it. Not really, so whatever.

You mean teaching a 12 year old doing projects , essays and and homework making sure they watch every lecture and and take notes and understand the course and don't copy a single word from anything having to do with the course or a plagiarism algorithm kicks in on the online school course and most of the kids in the classes are listed in the school system as cheaters so the grades do not count even if it's one word the algorithm doesn't know that you still are listed While you're working a full time at home without your usual office equipment on slower home internet while you stop to teach, your office program logs you off you lose rest of days work and pay them get a cut in pay for not working the required time, that's teaching us how to teach ? All of us dont have any support while teaching and working at home divorced moms or dads with no child support owed being paid during or before this nightmare plague .alot of this are in this with only our kids and ourselves trying to support all of us alone because you make 5 dollars more than the limit allowed while expected to be paying for everything still
