I’ve felt far from God lately, and deep down I knew it was worldly distractions. I do Bible study almost every morning and I asked this morning for God to send me a message, what does He want me to know… I came across this video and the statement “if you feel worn out in your faith, set your eyes back on the cross and what Christ has done for you” I knew was exactly for me. I remember my pastor saying, when you feel far from God, it was you who moved, not Him. To get back to where I was, in true fellowship with Him, I have to set my eyes on Him, not the worldly distractions that are trying to get my attention. That you so much for being the mouth for God to speak to me today!

God is so good that He used you to talk to me, i saw the thumbnail a while back and i coudlnt get it out of my mind. Today when i watched it, it was nice. Today I feel super as you said warn out in my faith. I feel like a failure beacuse I am struggling with sin. But I need to be thankful toward God and what HE did on the cross for my sinning, with worship. So, I might keep doing for Him, beacuse He deserves my life and everything in it. ❤ Thank You God

I'm new too following jesus, but I'm so glad to be here and continue to seek him more and more everyday. I am so grateful for what Jesus did for us and I absolutely did not deserve it. I'm grateful for people like you that are helping me get closer to him thru Bible study and understanding in a way I couldn't do on my own. So Thank you.

@4:46 - I call these the “Big Buts” of the Bible (not to be disrespectful of the Word in anyway). An example of a gift of God’s lovingkindness is usually what follows. I recently did a study on the word mercy and I can say that I am truly grateful for His mercy. Thank you for this sharing.

Joy…that is what I thought of watching this. I used to sing the song “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart” song and just recently can sing it and FEEL it! From that joy, thankfulness, and gratitude is bubbling! This is will honestly be my first Christmas celebrating as it should be celebrated and I’m so excited! To feel my heart filled with joy is amazing, so wonderful, and I can’t help but share…and be ever so thankful, and grateful, to Him!

Newbie here. Great video. I am thankful for GOD’s Holiness. We tend to bring GOD down to our level or slightly above us when the reality is, GOD is so~much Greater!!! To realize that we are made to glorify HIM and know how often we fail to do so is humbling. GOD Continues to love us, take care of us despite our true condition without HIM. It is too powerful for words!!!

I always said I'm thankful for the big broad things...Salvation, His love, Grace,---the big stuff. I've tried to take my bible and break it down to be thankful for the small stuff that's huge--for Jesus obedience to the Lord all the way to being crucified, I know that was physically horribly hard. To say you chose Me....Patti...to be yours. That you adopted me...Patti as yours. To just look at it through a magnifying glass and be thankful for the little elements of all of that. I love those verses you used....and I just turn them into a prayer of thanks...Thank you for loving me when I was dead. I hope I'm doing this right! :)

Every year I always say I’m thankful for things like my family friends and most importantly God but my actions didn’t show it I’m so thankful that God has answered my prayer of desiring him more and so the more I seek him and truly spend time in his word and apply what I’ve learned to my life I will then truly be thankful by living out his calling on my life I pray that those who were in the same boat as me who said they were thankful for God but their actions didn’t show it that they would truly seek him with all their heart I promise it won’t be easy but you won’t regret it ❤️

What a good way to go into this gathering season. Mercy and grace are what we should be most thankful for. I know I have been stressing about whether gifts will get to my family on time for Christmas rather than realizing that we have the greatest gift in Him and one another.

"Gratefulness expressed through action." 🤯🤯🤯 Wow, Faith, thank you for this video! I'm going to write this down. Not only do I need to express gratitude for Christ's death/resurrection with action I think it is also important to do the same when it comes to others too. This has convicted to really think about how I treat others. Do the people I thank really feel the gratitude I have for them and what they have done for me?Or does my "thanks" seem shallow? I hope you know how much I appreciate your channel and your friendship. Thank you. 💖 How is everyone? Are the goats behaving themselves?

Same , I feel like my gratitude wasn’t that deep to the point where I was showing it in my actions.

Wow! What a great point! I am so grateful for your friendship as well! You've been here since the beginning! We are doing well! Added three chickens to the family very spontaneously today, which shocked the goats, but they kind of just ignored them, overall! lol I guess that's good!

Hi! I'm new to your channel. I found you when searching for good pens and highlighters to use on bible pages, but stayed for the bible studies and prayer journaling videos. I was wondering if you have a video on or if you could make a video on the topic of Philippians 4:8. I was wondering if you had any practical application advice. I've been really drawn to this verse, but would love any advice or thoughts.

Hi Faith, I love your videos. I have a question...how do you take notes in your Bible when you do a topic or word study? Thanks for sharing your studies and insights with us.
@josephwomack46832 жыл бұрын
We usually write the notes closest to the verse so when you read the verse you can find the note close by! Especially with word studies!

I use the RV60. KJV is too difficult if you are not a native speaker, NKJV might be easier and it compares side by side to the RV60 (because it uses the same manuscripts).

Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”
