Trouble with all the cheap knit clothes I buy, repairs just aren’t an option. I did keep a concert shirt (Siouxsie and the Banshees) until it was probably 80% holes. Still miss that shirt. Hope the party goes well! What a fun tradition to have. We celebrate Canada Day on the 1st but are going nowhere as the lovely Covid has hit our home for the first time ever. I guess 4.5 years without getting it is a pretty good run

I really have way too many little cheap polyester shirts. Tossing them once they get holes is a way of still having the item serve its useful life but also decreasing the amount of stuff I have. Somehow my entire household, except one daughter, avoided getting COVID and she was asymptomatic. I thought for sure we would catch it because she got it on our cruise and we all drove home in the car together but we were fortunate. Unless we got it and we're all asymptomatic as well.

It's not really practical. The holes are tiny and sometimes there are a cluster of them.
