Thanx for the update on you dad’s condition. Nice curvy rural roads once you get away from the highway on your route out to the house. Probably gives you a chance to clear your head and plan your next “moves”.

Glad your dads doing ok. Have you considered 5.5L frame for your next event? Give you 2x the fuel capacity.

@@ralphpitcher8849 The Trail Buddy 5.5l frame doesn’t come with a VIN, no way to register and plate it. Plus, I’ll need to carry more fuel than that, so I’ll be building a custom auxiliary tank.

Speaking of the XL-70… Have you ever done a gas tank coating with any of the available kits ?? I’ve done a CT-90 tank and the Auxiliary Gas Can for the same bike with a KBS Coatings kit, and was happy with the results.

We’re still praying for his swift recovery, but you know like men always do once he recovers. He’s going to be going right back and doing the same thing loading equipment again.
