Thank you Amy for the helpful video 🌺! The weather here in SE Texas has been so strange this winter, the poor plants are probably confused🤷‍♀️. I did enjoy some beautiful blooms...pink, fuchsia, white, yellow, red, peach & the beautiful Samba Brazil. Mine are all small, nothing comparable to Big Red!! Wonderful video Amy! I picked up the last of the buds off of the floor yesterday. These cold temperatures have been brutal. I've been meaning to tell you that I use microfiber clothes rolled and places inside the plant saucers to absorb the run off. Then they go into the wash. Have a blessed weekend. ☺️💐

💚 Brrrrrr...18 degrees 😳 that's very ❄️ cold. Our lowest temp has been 26 so far and I about froze!!! My cacti didn't bloom so well this season. They're all dark green and healthy tho. I got one beautiful bud on my yellow one, a few on the white, red and salmon and that's it. Very informative video. Blessings dear friend 😇

Hi Sharon! It was so cold, Buddy wanted to go for a walk...I said no, he walked around a bit and ran back into the house! Lol. Last year, my orchid pink cactus didn't bloom well, and it really made up for it this year! Some years are just better blooming years for them. Hope yours bloom profusely for you this year. First of all, I must say that I love your channel, I have learned so much by watching them. My question to you is that my Thanksgiving cactus just finished flowering about two weeks ago but already I see a new leaf growing. Isn't too early for these plants to be putting on new growth? Thank you

Thank you for all your very helpful information!! I have a thanksgiving cactus, reside in Florida and I may not have watered it enough starting out thinking it didn't need as much water. What I've noticed on the leaves are what looks like roots springs that are coming out from the leaves. It also bloomed late this year (in January) which I wasn't sure if it was going to bloom at all and the blooms are less and not as full as last year and weaker in appearance and the leaves have more of a purple color than a deep green. I have it in a semi shaded spot in my Lanai currently where temps reach 70's daytime and low 60's at night. Would you please let me know what I can do to bring it back to a healthier state and what is causing these little roots to show up?? Thank you so much!

Blessings to you. I am a bit confused about the fertilizing schedule as far as the strength of the fertilizer used. I understood that March-May is diluted fertilizer but should I continue with diluted strength June -August. The index card said to continue schedule from March to May? What would the diluted formula of the cal-mag, orchid plus and seaweed extract be for a gallon of water please. Sorry for so many questions. Thank you for everything you do.

Hi! I use my orchid fertilizer runoff on the months I use fertilizer on them. They get the same amount that my orchids do. Blessings! Amy 😇⚘
