When RDJ returns, he might be Iron Man from another universe, but the Tony Stark that we know is dead and can't come back as Thanos, Nebula, and Gamora did. Thanos is probably coming from some other universe, but that, too, still diminishes, by their strange logic, Iron Man's death. For the record, I always thought it was a very, VERY bad decision to kill off Tony Stark. Bringing him back doesn't "magically undo" anything. Don't you all talk about a resurrection in March or April every year without diminishing the value of his "sacrifice for the greater good"?

When he is told of what the 616 version did to defeat Thanos, he will see the family that he never had, and probably sacrifice himself again the same way instead of trying to save his own dimension.

Kurt Busiek wrote two year long + Kang stories, which are held up by Avengers fans as some of the best the book has to offer. 4 Avengers movies in a row with Thanos as the main villain, or at least the main draw as villain, is a lot. Better option would be to bring back Thanos for one movie, have him destroy the council of Kangs, and maybe even Kang. Then, set up the Beyonder, who destroys Thanos in that movie. You get butts in seats for a Marvel movie with Thanos, and then they come back to finish the story with this new villain. Solves all problems.

There’s so many flaws with this just by things they’ve already established. Our infinity stones are gone in this universe…reduced to atoms. Only the gauntlet AND stones from one universe can be used in the universe it belongs to. You cannot traverse the multiverse and use the same gauntlet. Therefore Thanos would be powerless and just a good fighter and maybe an army. There are multiple heroes that can take him one on one. 2 characters almost did it in one movie, damn near one scene. I completely disagree that this is a good move. If they want to deal with the Kang story, have a 1 off, TVA show for one season. Show them going after the variants of Kang. They need to get the old fans back. Thats not going to happen. (its the same issue as star wars) There is no where left for the story to go. The only way to move forwards is through the past. They would need to have Tony LOSE or they would need to have to have killed Thanos BEFORE the snap or just after before he destroyed the stones. There are ways to do this, there are open doors. 1. Loki escaping from the battle of New York 2. Steve Rogers going through time to return the stones 3. whatever adventure Deadpool is going to do 4. The Stones from the Fox Universe But I have no faith in any of these, Marvel makes Rules about time travel and breaks them, they have no idea how to tell that type of story, and all of the Proof is in End Game and Loki.

Idk if u realized bro u pretty much just made the argument of why it’s ok for them to stick with Kang , like u said nobody knew who Thanos was till they made him a house hold name … that will be the same for Kang the only BIG PROBLEM I see if that they lost Majors for the role they need another great actor to fill in … other then that as long as it’s written good Kang can become the next Thanos and if all else fail u bring in Doom we done with Thanos need to to bring him back as the next villain a cameo would be ok

Everyone knew Thanos just like we know Kang unless you never read a comic or watched any cartoons idk what he's talking about. Thanos was teased for years only for him to kick ass in one movie because the snap almost killed him for some reason

I think your whole point of no one would know Kang when he arrives. is that the bloody point. they not know of his power and destruction. plus no one knew about Thanos. when Banner told Dr Strange Thnos was coming he replied with "Who " I honestly don't know what your hatred with Kang is about but it's hilarious and embarrassing. These are such bad arguments. I’m sorry. Ironman Doctor Strange Wong Spider-Man Loki Thor Black Widow Hawkeye Falcon Cap Scarlet Witch Black Panther Antman I could go on. NONE of these characters knew who Thanos was…Banner literally explained to 3 of them who he even was and even THEN didn’t know his true plan. Come on now. Only characters that knew him were the guardians bc of Gamora and Nebula. Stop. Remember when Thanos arrived in Wakanda during infinity war and Banner literally had to tell Cap, “that’s him”… As for the sake of comparison. Kang hasn’t even had his avengers movie yet. Seems foolish to compare them as villains when he has been given that same exposure yet. A variant of him isn’t, 𝙝𝙞𝙢.
