Tommy Chong, you magnificent bastard. One of my favorite Leo moments is when Red finds out Leo is not only a war vet but also a respected hero. Red is so baffled that he asked "How did you go from war hero to hippie degenerate?" Its than that we get Leo's backstory. He wanted to be a doctor but he met up with some weed smoking Jazz musicians. The story ends with the best line. "And that's the last thing I remember before you poured me this cup of coffee." Leo brain skipped over 30 years.🤣 God I love that 70's show despite most of the final season being dogshit.

Assuming he’s more or less a World War 2 or Korean War Veteran. Only because of his age of the time of that 70’s show. He just did what a lot of vets did back in the day. He blended it.

Reminds of a summer job I had when I was in high school, haha. I worked at a grocery store in which the son had 'taken over" from dad when he passed away suddenly. He wasn't quite ready for the responsibility and was not much older than us high schoolers- we had some pretty good after hours beer bashes. He'd sell us kegs at his cost.....good times.

I wish they gave Leo more back story. All we know is hes a veteran who chose the way of the hippie after hitch hiking. What if he chose that lifestlye because he was running away from the horrors of war? A lot of veterans turned pot smoking hippies after the Vietnam war.
@deadringer2349
@deadringer2349 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, you might be correct on the running away from the horrors of war theory. I think Ive read that somewhere.
@grantgarrod2232
@grantgarrod2232 2 жыл бұрын
That's a likely theory. Many vets, permanently scarred by the horrors they experienced in the military, shunned any form of violence or governmental intrusion, and embraced the pacifism, inclusiveness, & mind-altering drug usage of the Hippie lifestyle. However, considering Leo's apparent age in the 70's, it's far more likely he was a veteran of WWII, or the Korean war. Leo's as old or older than Red, & he was a Korean war vet.

Nice job with the subtitles man. What is it that gives such ideas rythm, was it spelled correctly... like the stuff that is being ignored, the stuff that gives the supreme court the right to review old things that are the basis for our standing today? I say nothing, they don't have the right to review especially without due process. Think about the horse sheet in a state, you know. The county the village the town. Man, I can remember this one dude week after week Hong in front of this pencil pusher sitting behind a card table being sent to and fro from jail and to jail, when the pencil pusher, you know has absolutely no judicial power. Read the words man, article 3, read article 4 then take a look at article 6 and see what it is we, the people the real people. You know, are trying to put on the peoples plate, man it's the best stuff but why is it still not wanted, what is it that is feared change? Obama said to me o said we dont need change man we need dollars he said forget vfc that, so here we go we the people demand righteousness, it's not the 90s, I grew up in the 70s they had angel dust beautiful woman wearing flowers in their hair singing songs at the fair, then the pigs man, that's right they didn't gi for it you know guns and lasers that stun os their thing under the sun so along came pcb's and suddenly dudes were running down the street. What's that? Our word capiche? Get the picture.... it's our constitution not theirs. I know you got it Danny, I know too Ashton and topher you too... my love is at the door answer it. Don't brand us set us free. I love... u2. Forget that and the smell of horse sheet. In New York we got horse racing and whose the gobner? Who needs more govt not us, we the people have had enough... set us free with red hit coals under our feet kicking at the bricks with a proper hand keeping the candle lit. Light them in order. The menorah. God.bless... those in your soul, keep us, guide us, quicken us, with love light and your spirit, enlighten us.

Fez... a choking hazard? How many came here to the states to be educated with worthless waste, like a technology that cannot be utilized meaningfully for fusion power, we need picometer measurements, tritium, not be that cost a fortune, again. What is it that is being forgiven? Those student loans.... ouch. The radius of helium is 31 picometers, so when I asked this recipient of more than 6 billion in 92 how many nanometers there are in an atom of helium, while he was driving in his Ferrari, and me in my Honda, not one o said as he stumbled through some mumbo jumbo. Get with it man... why we teaching it if it's useless because those mfrs dont care care about you but we the people do... been around a whole back in 77, met a few good men we need now more than a few... stand your ground and demand from those who specialize in the media... to put the right stuff on the table and dont det us up like jonny was in blow... look and see why in puerto Rico we stopped the experimentation and now the business is here in this capital city... a piece of capital worthless where we're going what card you got showing... fez.... is it a choking hazard for children or do cigarettes cause cancer child protection on windows in Albany not if your child fell from the 7th floor, make sure the tower air flight has seats that are secure... its not twa 800 man, it was tower air a fgkg dc10 stretch... think about it. The horse sheet or the truth...

Including Tommy Chong in That 70's Show was GENIUS! The only bad part was they couldn't then include the Cheech and Chong movies and records. But still Tommy Chong is a brilliant actor, a funny, funny man, and just a great dude to have in an cast of friends. He fit in perfectly! Him owning but not "knowing" he owns the photo store was epic! Him mentoring Hyde was also perfectly casted. This show did a incredible job with ALL of their actors. They set up each one perfectly to fit their goofy personas. Red Foreman-Tough ass Dad. Kitty Foreman-sweet caring but tough Mom. Eric Foreman-wuss. Donna Pinciotti-femanazi. Micheal Kelso-dumbass! Jackie Burkhardt-snotty brat. Fez Dispenser-DUMBASS #2. Steven Hyde-"badboy." Laurie Foreman-skank, slut, party girl. Mother Foreman-loves son, hates his wife. LEO-STONER! Bob Pinciotti-dumbass #3. Midge Pinciotti-airhead! Complete airhead! They had a few other great co-stars and one guy who was in my opinion one of the BEST comedians ever, Mitch Hedberg. His role as the counter man at the Hub was brilliant! WHY DIDN'T THEY BRING HIM BACK?!!? His dry but witty comedic way was hilarious. That to me was the second biggest mistake that they ever made on That 70's Show. The first being the last season, which wasn't their fault. Eric (Topher Grace) choosing to leave was a BAD BAD CHOICE! For him and the show. His role as Venom(Eddie Brock) in Spider-Man 3 was not the best thing for him. That entire movie was a mess and he would have been far far better off staying on That 70's Show, but Ce La Vie. 😳 Huh?
