Even so if I had to choose between the current Morbid Angel and "I Am Morbid", I'd go with "I Am Morbid", why? Because that's where the soul of Morbid Angel is, Pete Sandoval, Trey and Richard (RIP) are important, but they're replaceable like any guitarist who isn't a virtuoso in the style of Paul Gilbert, Yngwie, etc. Pete's 1-foot blast beats are unmatched, and even though he recently had gay braids with the rainbow colors, the guy is still kicking ass on the drums, and unlike Lars, he still plays the songs as originally they are on drums, even though he looks like a walking skeleton. Also I agree that the name "I Am Morbid" is pretty homo and causes a lot of cringe, but it's only thanks to David Vincent and his homo cowboy hat. i'm pissed about morbid angel dropping off, i really wanted to hear F/G/H stuff. last time i saw morbid was with Dave on the I tour and they just played stuff from the first 4 anyways.

I hate to say it, but I'd much rather go see I Am Morbid than Morbid Angel these days. I just can't get into any of the music after Domination. Vincent is a super douche, but they perform the OG stuff. Honestly, the whole urban cowboy look isn't any lamer than his Poison hair and leather pants were.
