The things that get to me the most are Aziraphale mouthing "I can't" just before he says "I forgive you". And him saying "no" just as Crowley turns and leaves. Such brilliant emotional acting in this scene.

I am fascinated by the various interpretations of Aziraphale's shaky lips in this scene. I've seen people "reading" all sorts of mysterious hidden messages there, and yet not a one has read the words accurately! What he ACTUALLY says is, of course, "Banana, fish, gorilla, shoelace with dash of nutmeg."

Hence his smile at the end. He knows he will get the final apology dance from Crowley when everything clears up. At least that is what he fully believes. Now, having seen the cut apocalyptic photos of the world devastated with only A's bookshop standing intact in the middle of it all (lights on inside!) Azi might be shocked a few times till they get to the apology dance and their happily ever after... but for now, he strongly believes and acts based on his current considerations.
